Mortal Kombat becomes best-selling game in series history

Mortal Kombat has had a nice little run since its April release. There’s been good reviews, a good reception from the gaming public and good sales. How good? With three million copies sold worldwide, the PS3 and Xbox 360 title has become the best-selling entry in the entire Mortal Kombat series.

“All of us at NetherRealm Studios are very excited that players have embraced Mortal Kombat. The game was a labor of love for us and we could not be more pleased with its performance,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “Fan reaction to this latest installment has made all of our hard work worth it.”

So what are you waiting for Ed Boon? Bring on Mortal Kombat 10!
