Square Enix confirms PC re-release for Final Fantasy VII

It’s not a high definition remake, but Square Enix has announced they’ll be re-releasing the PC version of Final Fantasy VII soon “exclusively on the Square Enix Store.”

The game will include a few tweaks and additions since the last time it was available for the PC including Achievements, cloud saving (heh), a Character Booster for when you’re stuck and don’t feel like grinding, and hardware optimization for the current generation of PCs.

You can catch up on all your favorite Final Fantasy VII moments by watching the re-release’s trailer above or taking a gander at the game’s official website.
