Nintendo is going big with this week’s Nintendo Download with seven titles are newly available to download today, and an eighth scheduled for release this Sunday, October 7.
This week’s two biggest additions are Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! and Crosswords Plus. The art tutor and the crossword puzzles collection are now available on the 3DS eShop… and in the same week the retail versions became available in stores. Not bad, Nintendo.
Purchasing either title through the 3DS eShop will also net you a downloadable copy of Donkey Kong: Original Edition, which features the never-before-seen-on-a-home-platform Cement Factory level.

Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! (3DS eShop) – Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! offers art lessons and art-on-the-go for everyone. An in-game tutor walks you through step-by-step lessons as you explore art theory and concepts behind drawing and painting.
Crosswords Plus (3DS eShop) – Crosswords Plus offers more than 1,000 professionally designed crossword puzzles at multiple skill levels to challenge all types of players. Use the stylus and touch screen to input your answers.
Cave Story (3DS eShop) – You wake up in a dark cave with no memory of who you are, where you came from or why you’re in such a place. Uncovering Mimiga Village you discover that the once-carefree Mimiga are in danger at the hands of a maniacal scientist.
Samurai G (3DS eShop) – Become the Shining Samurai of legend! Samurai G is a non-stop action game that will challenge players of all levels!
Dr. Mario (3DS eShop) – Join Dr. Mario for intense puzzle challenges. Mario throws multi-shaded vitamin capsules into a bottle that contains an ugly variety of nasty viruses.
Academy: Chess Puzzles (DSiWare) – Whether you’re an advanced chess player or you’ve just started the adventure with this exciting game – you will spend hours finding solutions for 750 brain-twisting chess puzzles.
Drop Zone: Under Fire (WiiWare) – Dive into action with Drop Zone! Get the adrenaline flowing as you blast your way through free fall. You’ll need quick reflexes to avoid obstacles and take out dangerous enemy forces!

Pokémon Dream Radar (3DS eShop) – Get ready for Pokémon Dream Radar, a Nintendo 3DS title coming to the Nintendo eShop on October 7. Use various features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the 3D camera and gyro sensor, to chase down hard-to-get Pokémon.
