Nintendo Download: Wii U Roundup, Zelda II, Crashmo, more

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Nintendo is dishing out a ton of new eShop content thanks to their first Wii U games update as well as a handful of 3DS, DSi, and Wii games.

This week, Wii U owners got the chance to download five eShop titles including the dreamy Chasing Aurora, the white-hot Little Inferno, the high-defintion remake Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition, the twin-stick shooter Nano Assault Neo, and the puzzle platformer Trine 2: Director’s Cut. Almost two dozen Wii U retail games were also added to the eShop including New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and more.

3DS owners have their own batch of games to be thankful including another puzzle platformer (Crashmo) and the underappreciated Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

Chasing Aurora (Wii U eShop) – Chasing Aurora is a 2D aerial action game about the dream of flight.

Little Inferno (Wii U eShop) – Throw your toys into your fire, and play with them as they burn. Stay warm in there. It’s been snowing for as long as anyone can remember!

Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition (Wii U eShop) – Space Hooligans have escaped custody and are wreaking havoc all over Planet Land! HQ calls on cybernetic peace-keeper Patricia Wagon to bring these renegades to justice.

Nano Assault Neo (Wii U eShop) – Stop the deadly Nanostray virus from spreading in the nano cosmos. Traverse a breathtaking microscopic world. You are one against millions.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut (Wii U eShop) – Trine 2: Director’s Cut takes you on an adventure through magical lands in this sidescrolling game of platforming, action and puzzles. The game features physics-based puzzles using fire, water, gravity and magic; wicked goblins to fight against; and wondrous fairy-tale lands as backdrop to the adventure.

Crashmo (3DS eShop) – Embrace the laws of gravity with a whole new kind of action-puzzle play in this exciting sequel to the critically acclaimed Pushmo game. New gravity mechanics and gadgets like floating blocks, doors and move switches await players ready for a challenge.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (3DS eShop) – Link returns to Hyrule on a quest to find the Triforce of Courage and awaken Zelda from an endless sleep. Learn magic spells, talk to people in towns to get clues, collect items to increase your power and explore seven palaces where the underlings of the evil Ganon await you.

3D MahJongg (3DS eShop) – In 3D MahJongg, the goal is to find pairs of matching tiles in order to remove all tiles from the board.

Spirit Hunters Inc: Light (DSiWare) – Using Augmented Reality, scan anywhere in the real world to hunt, battle and capture as many of the unique spirits as possible. With 96 spirits, 16 spirit families and 90+ abilities (each aligned to one of the six elements) there are plenty of opportunities to customize your experience as you increase your levels and ranks within Spirit Hunters Inc.
