wgaSome people out there still love the Vita as the Writers Guild of America has bestowed the 2013 Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Achievement in Videogame Writing on the scribes who penned Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. So congratulations need to go out to scriptwriters Richard Farrese and Jill Murray.

Liberation triumphed over several higher-profile nominees including its console big brother, Assassin’s Creed III, as well as 007 Legends, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Halo 4, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

This is the second Writers Guild Award for the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood won in 2011.
