11 Bit Studios’ Anomaly 2 has gone from announcement to beta to release date in record time. Yesterday, the developer revealed that the “tower offense” sequel will be available for the PC, Mac, and Linux on May 15.

Best of all, players that pre-order the game before its release will receive 10% off the already low $14.99 asking price (that’s $13.49 for the math haters in the audience). And players who buy it through Anomaly2Game.com will receive an additional bonus gift on launch day.

Those interested in Anomaly 2 can also check out a new “Story Trailer” after the break and a hands-on look at the multiplayer beta very soon.
