Nintendo has updated the Wii U eShop and 3DS eShop with a ton of new games today, but this week’s biggest release, Pikmin 3, won’t be available until Sunday. If the further adventures of Captain Olimar and his little companions doesn’t interest you, Pwnee’s insane platformer, Cloudberry Kingdom, is available for the Wii U today. And if neither of those games are of interest to you, 3DS and Wii U adaptations of Disney’s Planes will be available to download on Tuesday, August 6.
Virtual Console fans will be interested in knowing that Harvest Moon (originally released for the Super NES) has been added to the Wii U eShop and Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (originally released for the black-and-white Game Boy) has been added to the 3DS eShop.

Your challenge is to dig in and build your life as a farmer with old-fashioned hard work and dedication. There are buildings on your property, but they are in need of livestock. You have a modest house, but if things get lonely in the field, it’s going to take a remodel to woo a female farming companion. Success in this game is measured by the fruits of your labor, so remember, you always reap what you sow!
Pikmin 3 – they’re called pikmin, and they seem to have some very handy abilities. in fact, these tiny pikmin may be the big advantage the explorers need. (Available August 4)
Planes – Get over your fear of heights and take to the skies for a daring mid-air adventure that will test your pilot skills and your sense of humor. After a few flight lessons with Skipper, throttle forward over the world of Cars, just like Disney’s hit movie Planes. Fly solo or fly with a wingman to complete flight objectives, or challenge each other to an Air Rally race or a Balloon Pop challenge. And if you want to stretch your wings, get airborne with a leisurely Free Flight. Just don’t look down! (Available August 6)
3DS U eShop
Bike Rider DX – Enjoy a new kind of jump ‘n run action, riding your bike on bumpy roads, crossing deep valleys and dodging all kinds of obstacles. Travel the globe to be the champion of the WORLD TOUR mode, or break the highscore in the endless GRAND PRIX mode and see how far you can go.
