Nintendo Download: Street Fighter II trilogy, Zero Escape, Ninja Gaiden II, more

A triple dose of Street Fighter leads the charge in this week’s Nintendo Download. Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, and Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting are all available to download now from the Wii U eShop. Best of all, it’s possible to get all three games for a nice discount. If you buy one, at the regular price of $7.99, you’ll be able to score the other two for 50% until August 29.

Also available today is a pair of spectacular titles for the 3DS. The acclaimed visual novel Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward and the NES classic Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos can now be downloaded through Nintendo’s handheld.

Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting – Street Fighter II defined gaming in the 1990s by revolutionizing the fighting game genre. Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, regarded as one of the greatest games of all time, was the third and final release of the original Street Fighter II series. The original eight world warriors are featured, along with playable boss characters Balrog, Sagat, and M. Bison. The game offered enhanced gameplay speed and improved character balancing.

Phineas and Ferb: Quest For Cool Stuff – There’s a whole lot of stuff to do during the last week of summer vacation and Phineas and Ferb want to do it all! Join these charismatic brothers of invention as they create, travel and explore in their quest for treasures to add to the Museum of Cool. Perry the pet platypus, aka Agent P, has their backs when bumbling villain Dr. Doofenshmirtz unleashes his latest obscure -inator devices designed to take over the entire Tri-State area! Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward – Winner of “Best Story for Nintendo 3DS” at IGN.com and nominated for “Best Story” at the 2013 GDC Awards, Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, a thrilling visual novel and puzzle game, is now available for download. Unravel the mysteries behind a deadly game of trust and betrayal.

Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos – In this NES console classic, guide Ryu Hayabusa in his rescue mission for Irene Lew, friend and former CIA agent. Use techniques such as the Fire Wheel, Windmill Throwing Star and fan-favorite Shadow Clones to defeat evil henchmen, terrifying creatures and challenging bosses.

Wakedas – Wakedas is a contemplative and thoughtful shape shifting puzzle game with the perfect combination of eye-candy visuals and serene sounds. Radiant multicolored tiles rests on an infinite loop; aim of the game is to group same colored blocks together by simply dragging your finger across the screen.

Funfair Party Games – Multiplayer fun at the fair with movement control and eleven amazing attractions! Use your Mii to play live multiplayer games or master all the attractions in single player mode and beat the international high scores. In addition to classic control options, you can move your Nintendo 3DS to take aim at targets with your gun or control the circle of hot wire in arcade mode. You can also throw darts, basketballs and more by imitating the realistic movement with the Nintendo 3DS. Sound crazy? That’s because it is – and a ton of fun to boot!

Fish On 3D – Earn 75 distinctive Titles, collect 400 Lures and max your Score by accomplishments achieved in the game. Tournament features three divisions; each with five different cups, consisting of multiple stages. Challenge offers three courses and each stage has a set time and weight quota. Fish the biggest fish hidden in each stage to obtain a star.
