MGS5: Ground Zeroes to be released on March 18; Xbox-exclusive Raiden mission announced

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on March 18, 2014. The “prologue” to the currently-in-development Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released digitally on next-generation systems and as a retail game for current-generation consoles.

And to go along with “Deja Vu,” the previously announced PlayStation-exclusive mission, Kojima revealed that Xbox owners will receive exclusive bonus content of their own. Specifically, gamers who purchase Ground Zeroes on the Xbox 360 or Xbox One will receive access to the “Jamais Vu” mission starring everyone’s favorite ninja cyborg, Raiden.

You can check out the “Jamais Vu” trailer above or head over to the Xbox Wire to view an extended new gameplay video and a Q&A with Kojima himself.
