Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Swapper, more added to PS Store

Sony has dropped eight new games onto the PlayStation Store, so get for another punching, platforming, and shooting good time. This week’s big new releases include…

  • Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept (PS4), a standalone shooter based on the “Intercept” co-op mode from Killzone: Shadow Fall.
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV (PS3), is the fourth (and presumably final) update for Street Fighter IV. It adds five new fighters to the game as well as a variety of balance tweaks.
  • The Swapper (PS3/PS4/Vita Cross-Buy), is this week’s “PlayStation Store Play” selection and it tasks players with navigating a sci-fi world by cloning themselves into new locations.
  • Metrico (Vita), is another puzzle platformer, but this one is set in a world of charts and graphs.
  • Sacred 3 (PS3), the latest entry in the hack and slash franchise, which has shifted over to a new developer in Keen Games.

PS4/PS3/Vita Cross-Buy Games

The Swapper ($19.99)
What if someone knew your mind better than you did? The Swapper is an award-winning, narrative driven puzzle game set in the furthest reaches of space. The Swapper takes place in an isolated and atmospheric sci-fi world. Players wield an experimental device which allows them to create clones of themselves, swapping their entire consciousness into new bodies to overcome the challenges of the environment.

Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept ($19.99)
Join forces with up to three friends and sign up for Intelligence Squad Alpha – a crack team of specialist soldiers working behind enemy lines to intercept Helghast military transmissions. Fight as one of four classes the close-quarters Assault trooper, the mid-to-long range Marksman or the support-focused Medic or Tactician roles. Pit your squad against waves of attackers led by Helghast champions from the Killzone: Shadow Fall single player campaign. This co-op action features four arena maps inspired by locations from the single player campaign.

Road Not Taken ($14.99)
Road Not Taken is a rogue like puzzle game about surviving life’s surprises. Ultra Street Fighter IV ($39.99)

Sacred 3 ($49.99)
Sacred 3 is an arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash game for up to four players, set in the war for Ancaria. Choose from legendary heroes and fight together against the rise of evil. You will face hordes of grimmocs, brute beasts, legions of mercenaries and undead wizards. Develop your character’s skills and abilities and band together to use powerful co-op abilities and tactics. PS Vita Games

Metrico ($13.99)
Metrico is a new world. A living world filled with infographics that react directly to your movement, actions and input. Visit this mysterious place and discover how everything you do affects it. With all of its puzzles and action, Metrico invites you to explore, experiment, test your skills and most of all: think outside the box.

MotoGP 13 ($29.99)
2013 Riders, teams and tracks both simulation and accessible bike handling with scalable aids photorealistic graphics with TV style interface ingame voice over by official MotoGP commentators first person elements such as the helmet view and 3D pits to put you in the rider’s shoes.

Table Top Racing ($7.99)
Table Top Racing (TTR) is a fast and furious miniaturised combat racing game that pits all manner of crazy cars and automobiles against each other. Welcome to a world of table top race tracks, over-sized obstacles and insane power-ups. TTR might be miniature but don’t be fooled by its size! This little combat racer will knock your giant socks off!
