2015 is still moving at a snail’s pace, so now’s the perfect time to reveal the winners of Warp Zoned’s 2014 Golden Pixel Awards. All of our favorite (and not so favorite) games of the year are available for your perusal, so go peruse!
In other Game of the Year news, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor collected the most nominations for the GDC Awards and the DICE Awards. Also, the nominees for the 2015 Writers Guild Awards have been announced.
Finally this week, Senior Editor Nicole Kline sat down with Ascension: Deckbuilding Game and wrote up a review. While the core Ascension action is still good, this adaptation is not.

- Super Mario Galaxy 2 is now on the Wii U eShop and more Wii games are coming.
- Fire Emblem 12 (though it won’t be called that) is official in development.
- Nintendo has confirmed that a Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition bundle will be released in the US in May 2015.
- Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Motorsport 6 is in development and will appear at E3 2015.
