It’s a slow week for the Nintendo eShop as just four games were added to the digital storefront today…

The biggest name in the bunch is Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, which was originally released for the DS in 2008, and is now available to download for the Wii U through its Virtual Console service. Also new to the Wii U eShop this week are Dragon Skills, a retro-style game inspired by Arkanoid and Snake, and Overworld Defender Remix, an arcade shooter with music by the Italian chiptune artist Buskerdroid.

Over on the 3DS eShop, players will be able to get into the Olympic spirit with Stickman Super Athletics, a mini-game compilation starring a group of Stickmen. A free demo for Nintendo’s Style Savvy: Fashion Forward is also available to download now.

More information on all of these games can be found after the break.

Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia – In the Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia game, you once again play as a Pokemon Ranger, working to help people, Pokemon and nature in a new area called the Almia Region. Starting out as a Student Ranger, you quickly earn the title of a full-fledged Pokemon Ranger. Along the way, you’ll meet and capture all kinds of different Pokemon.

Dragon Skills – Dragon Skills features classic arcade gameplay inspired by games like Arkanoid and the famous Snake. You have to destroy all stones in a level like in a classic brick breaker game. In Dragon Skills, though, the ball has a tail which gets longer and longer. And crossing the tail with the ball will trigger rewards for the player. In each level, the player aims for the ultimate high score. To achieve the highest score, the use of dragon skills will be necessary.

Overworld Defender Remix – Be a hero in this exciting new arcade shooter by using the Wii U GamePad or Wii Remote. Set to a retro-inspired soundtrack by Italian chiptunes musician Buskerdroid, prepare to defend the Overworld and save the Overworld Galaxy!
