Xbox Store Today… Kingdom: New Lands, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Anode, more

A handful of new games are now available to download from the Xbox Games Store, including an IGF-nominated kingdom builder and a robot-wrecking ode to the 1980s.

Developed by Noio, Kingdom: New Lands takes the IGF-nominated kingdom builder and adds “an abundance of new content” including “new mounts, merchants, and vagrants” for its Xbox One debut. And speaking of re-releases, Activision and High Moon brought Transformers: Fall of Cybertron to the Xbox One this week with enhanced visuals and included downloadable content.

Finally this week, Anode is another falling block puzzler that adds colored lasers and detonators to the mix.

More information on all of these games (and a few other new releases) can be found after the break.

Xbox One Games

Kingdom: New Lands ($14.99)
Kingdom: New Lands builds upon the award-winning gameplay and mystery of Kingdom by introducing an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to experience and enjoy. Travel to the New Lands and welcome the deluge of new mounts, merchants, and vagrants that call these isles home, but be wary of the new obstacles that threaten your arrival — for not just the greedy creatures block your way but even the environment itself can defeat you.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron ($49.99)
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through a wide range of missions and massive environments designed around each character’s unique abilities.

Anode ($3.99)
Colored blocks fall, and they keep falling. You rotate them, and drop them. Faster and faster you align the pieces, creating links of matching color, filling in gaps. You touch a block with a detonator and the entire chain explodes. The blocks above them drop, another detonator touches, and another chain is gone. Then another. Invite a friend over, plug in some controllers, and dive into frantic competition. Complete long chains to send blocks to your opponent’s side, or use offensive items to trip them up. All to a pulsing soundtrack with music that gets more intense as your bin fills!

KillAllZombies ($11.99)
In the distant future, KillAllZombies thrusts civilians into a sport of survival, where a ravenous zombie population is unleashed in the name of sports entertainment. With the potential of a collective horde of over 1,000 zombies, spectators vote upon how many and what kind of zombies or obstacles they want to uncage to make survival easier or harder for you to accomplish.

Ben-Hur (Free)
Take the reins of the most exhilarating chariot race in history, as you become Ben-Hur. Inspired by this year’s reimagining of the epic film, brave the twists of an ancient Roman arena and battle deadly charioteers for your life and the freedom of your family. In this race… the first to finish is the last to die. Race merciless charioteers through a stunning re-creation of the Roman arena in Jerusalem, fueled by the visual horsepower of the Xbox One.
