Sometimes, we don’t agree on anything. Other times, we all agree on the same game. This month, we’re all in agreement: Horizon: Zero Dawn looks amazing. You’ll have to read on to see what else the crew here at Warp Zoned is interested in for the month of February!

Ubisoft’s multiplayer brawler, For Honor. looks like goofy fun. And, if nothing else, its “Knights Vs Vikings Vs Samurai” plotline will probably provide plenty of laughs.
But the game I’m really looking forward to this month is Horizon: Zero Dawn. Nearly all of the exclusives that Sony has secured for the PlayStation platform over the years have been visually striking, and Horizon’s mix of tribal warfare and high technology is one of their most interesting worlds yet. I can’t wait to discover what other mysteries it contains.

Since Persona 5 got delayed, I’m only interested in two games this month! The first one is Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, which looks dang adorable. It might be the first time I cave and get an Amiibo figure! That’s how cute it is.
The only other game I’m interested in is Horizon: Zero Dawn. I’ve loved the Killzone franchise for forever, so I’m really eager to see what the team does with a new franchise.

Personally, after years of writing about Kickstarter games, I am looking forward to picking up the full PS4 retail edition of Earthlock: Festival of Magic, which I featured in our Kickstart This column many, many moons ago. I still remember oohing and ahhing over the delightful characters from this fantastic world that looked like a cross between the Legend of Zelda series and Beyond Good & Evil.
Ubisoft’s For Honor also piqued my interest (and might have been a day one purchase if they spelled “Honour” correctly). However, the fact that it was originally a multiplayer-only game, with the single-player campaign seemingly added afterwards, turns me off.
That’s why my hard earned cash will be purchasing Guerrilla Games’s Horizon: Zero Dawn instead. I was a huge fan of the Killzone series, and Horizon looks like an incredible third person action adventure. However, the real draw for me, as a fiction writer, is the world and mythology that has been created for Eloy to explore. We have seen post-apocalyptic worlds countless times before, but the evolution of robotic animals mixed with the mystery surrounding the fall of mankind has me hooked before I’ve even picked up my DualShock 4.

Well, looks like February is a no-show for ol’ Mike. I suppose that’s a good thing considering I’m trying to save as much as I can for the Switch next month. I am interested in Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I think I can wait on that for a bit. Lego Worlds also entices me, as it puts a fresh coat of Lego paint on the Minecraft formula. Other than those, I think I’ll sit this one out…
