We are T-Minus 12 days from the launch of the Nintendo Switch, so now is a good time as any to ask Is Nintendo Marketing the Switch to the Wrong Audience? For a company so closely liked with the childlike wonder that video games can create, we’ve noticed there’s been a distinct lack of kids in the Switch’s marketing materials.
But, of course, video games aren’t just for kids. And no where is there more evident than in latest Kickstart This! selection, a game adaptation of Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now.

- Nihon Falcom and NIS America will release Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana this Fall.
- NIS America will release RPG Maker Fes for the 3DS this Summer.
- Culdcept Revolt will be released for the 3DS in Summer 2017.
- Farom Studio unveiled Lost Region, their upcoming survival action game.
- Inversus will be released for the Xbox One later this year alongside a major update.

- Crash Banidicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be released for PS4 on June 30.
- Cities: Skylines will be released for the Xbox One and Windows 10 this Spring.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will receive an Expansion Pass on the Switch and Wii U.
- Swamp Thing was added to Injustice 2‘s list of playable characters. NetherRealm also told fans “Here Come the Girls,” and added Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Cheetah.
- Sega will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Sonic Mania and Project Sonic at SXSW 2017.
- Focus Home Interactive will release Call of Cthulhu and Vampyr in Fall 2017.
