Xbox Store Today: Mass Effect Andromeda, This Is the Police, Troll and I, more

We dream of exploring the unknown, discovering what lies beyond.

It’s time to explore the furthest reaches of space once again with Mass Effect: Andromeda. Electronic Arts and BioWare have launched the fourth entry in the sci-fi franchise, and it’s now available to download for the Xbox One. Humanity needs a hero, and players will explore the mysterious and uncharted Andromeda Galaxy in Mass Effect: Andromeda in hopes of ensuring our survival.

Also available to download for the Xbox One today is This Is the Police, a 70s-set police drama that asks players to take on the role of “gritty” Police Chief Jack Boyd. Jack is nearing retirement, and he way he maneuvers the “ugly underbelly” of Freeburg will determine his future.

Finally today, Xbox One owners will also be able to download a story of a boy and his troll (Troll and I), as well as the adventures of a working class astronaut (Blue-Collar Astronaut).

More information on all of these games can be found after the break.

Xbox One Games

Mass Effect: Andromeda
Mass Effect: Andromeda takes players to the Andromeda galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way. There, players will lead our fight for a new home in hostile territory where WE are the aliens. Play as the Pathfinder – a leader of a squad of military-trained explorers – with deep progression and customization systems. This is the story of humanity’s next chapter, and player choices throughout the game will ultimately determine our survival in the Andromeda Galaxy. As you unfold the mysteries of the Andromeda Galaxy and the hope for humanity lies on your shoulders – You must ask yourself… How far will you go?

This Is the Police
Dive into a deep story of corruption, crime and intrigue. Take the role of gritty Police Chief Jack Boyd, and come face to face with the ugly underbelly of Freeburg, a city spiraling the drain. Will Jack reach his retirement with a nice stack of bills, or will he end up broken … or worse? Manage your staff, respond to emergencies, and investigate crimes in a city on the brink of chaos. The mafia underworld maneuvers behind the scenes, sinking their claws ever deeper into the city, even as the mayor is ready to exploit every situation to his political advantage. Choose your approach to each situation as it unfolds. Sometimes you’ll be responding to a developing crisis at a crime scene, or negotiating with Freeburg’s crime bosses. Sometimes you’ll find yourself dodging questions in the press room, or even the occasional cross-examination in the witness box.

Troll and I
Deep in the Nordic wilderness, a teenage boy named Otto is forced to flee his home after a band of brutal hunters rip through his village in search of a mythical creature rumored to inhabit the forest. Now on the run for his life, Otto inadvertently finds and befriends the elusive creature being sought by the hunters. Thus begins the perilous adventure of Troll and Otto.
