Xbox Store Today: Demon’s Crystals, Narcosis, Human Fall Flat, Elliot Quest

The Xbox Games Store is taking us into the weekend with a quartet of new additions to its virtual shelves.

First up is Demon’s Crystals, a twin-stick shooter for the Xbox One with a fantasy vibe. Players will take control of anime-styled Urican demons, who use magic and heavy artillery to battle back an invading army.

Also available to download for the Xbox One today is Narcosis, a survival horror game that takes place on the bottom of the ocean.

Finally today, Xbox One owners will be able to download two new puzzle platformers. Human: Fall Flat is a surreal adventure that takes place in “floating dreamscapes,” and Elliot Quest is a dungeon-crawling platformer where players attempt to break a curse on the main character.

More information on all four of these games can be found after the break.

Xbox One Games

Demon’s Crystals
Demon’s Crystals is a frenetic twin stick shooter where you guide the Urican demons through countless hazards in order to restore peace to the world. A variety of weapons and power-ups will help you defeat the massive enemy hordes. The Urican have always been at the top of the food pyramid, but one day three mysterious beings arrived causing the once peaceful inhabitants of the world to become aggressive and destructive.

Narcosis
Survival horror at the sunless depths of the Pacific: Stranded on the seafloor with low light and few tools, an industrial diver takes desperate steps to surface before his dwindling oxygen — and sanity — give out. Influenced and inspired by unconventional horror and narrative-driven games, Narcosis is rooted in reality, but steeped in the surreal.

Human: Fall Flat
Human: Fall Flat is a quirky, open-ended physics-based puzzle and exploration game set in floating dreamscapes. Your goal is to escape these surreal dreams by solving puzzles with nothing but your wits and physics. The world of Human: Fall Flat features advanced physics and innovative controls that cater for a wide range of challenges. Bob’s dreams of falling are riddled with puzzles to solve and distractions to experiment with for hilarious results. The worlds may be fantastical, but the laws of physics are very real.

Elliot Quest
Explore a vibrant open-world filled with hidden secrets and mysterious Guardians that can help cure Elliot’s curse of immortality. Throughout this adventure you’ll collect countless abilities and spells, quest through five dungeons and defeat 16 unique bosses along your way to unlocking multiple endings. After Elliot’s wife disappears, he falls sick and attempts to take his own life–only to discovers that he can’t die. Plagued by nightmares and growing weaker by the day, Elliot seeks out a local Sage, who tells him that he’s the victim of a rare curse. A demon called a Satar is slowly consuming Elliot’s vitality. If Elliot can’t find a cure to the curse before it’s too late, he will become a Satar.
