Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom’s Gamescom 2017 trailer focuses on a new character named Roland

We’re just one day away from the start of the 2017 Gamescom expo, and Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom to celebrate. This time around, the publisher is shining a spotlight on Roland, a stranger in the strange land of Ni No Kuni:

When one world ends, the gateway to another opens. This new trailer focuses on Roland, a president from Ichi No Kuni as he is transported to Ni No Kuni and becomes a close companion of Evan Pettywhisker, the deposed king of Ding Dong Dell. Two new characters are also introduced including Nerea, the beautiful queen of the land of Thalassea and her advisor Leander.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is in development at Level-5, in conjunction with former Studio Ghibli Character Designer Yoshiyuki Momose, and it’ll be released for the PC and PS4 on January 19, 2018.
