Xbox Store Today: ReCore Definitive Edition, Killing Floor 2, Resident Evil Revelations, more

It’s Wednesday, so welcome to another Xbox Games Store update.

For their midweek update, Microsoft has added ReCore: Definitive Edition to the Xbox Games Store as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Fans will be able to download the expanded re-release and receive a copy of the game for the PC and Xbox One. ReCore’s Definitive Edition will include revamped graphics, as well as a new Corebot (“The Tank”), a new adventure (“Eye of Obsidian”), and new areas to explore.

Also available to download today is Killing Floor 2, a multiplayer shooter from Tripwire Interactive. Players will fight back against the monsters while also preventing the outbreak from spreading further. And speaking of outbreaks, Capcom re-released Resident Evil Revelations for the Xbox One earlier this week. Taking place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, players will guide Jill Valentine through a zombie-infested cruise ship.

In other re-release news, the Xbox One is now home to Obsidian’s isometric RPG, Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition, and 34BigThings’s futuristic racer, Redout.

You can learn more about all of these games (and a few other new releases) after the break.

Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder

Armed with a variety of loadouts that range from guns to pheromone grenades, you’ll face off against enemy armies and gruesome, human-eating killers – all while attempting to capture and control as many bases as possible. The world is a wasteland, and your only hope for survival is to use the dead… or join them.

Control up to four concurrent heroes as they cast powerful spells, buff their teammates, and beat down their enemies with a variety of magical loot and groovin’ dance moves. The effectiveness of your team is all in the rhythm, so put on your dancing pants, light up dad’s disco ball, and prepare your body for The Metronomicon. Oh, and did I mention couch co-op? Because nothing’s better than an armored dance partner.
