Raiden is now available to download in Injustice 2… Overwatch’s Halloween Terror 2017 event begins on October 10

Injustice 2 gets another dose of Mortal Kombat on the eve of the latter’s 25th anniversary, and Overwatch will start to feel a little spookier beginning next week with the launch of yet another seasonal event.

Injustice 2 Celebrates Mortal Kombat’s 25th Anniversary with Newest Roster Addition, Raiden [Press Release]

It has begun! WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced that Raiden is now available to download in Injustice 2 for owners of the Ultimate Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or Fighter Pack #2. And all players will be able to purchase Raiden beginning on October 6.

The Thunder God makes his Injustice 2 debut just ahead of the 25th anniversary of the original Mortal Kombat:

Just ahead of the world-renowned Mortal Kombat franchise’s 25th anniversary on October 8, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released the newest addition to the Injustice 2 character roster: the eternal God of Thunder, Raiden. Beginning today, players who have purchased the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack or Fighter Pack #2 can play as Mortal Kombat’s protector of Earthrealm or as Black Lightning, a brand new Premiere Skin that accompanies the Raiden DLC, smiting foes with their powerful lightning abilities. The Raiden DLC will be available to all players and for purchase separately on October 6.


Overwatch Halloween Terror Returns – 10.10.17 [Twitter]

Blizzard has announced that Overwatch‘s Halloween Terror event will return next Tuesday, October 10. Like in previous Overwatch events, players will be able to obtain new Skins and other loot for the duration of Halloween Terror 2017. The publisher will likely reveal more information about the event, along with a new trailer, any day now:
