Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 20, 2017

Day One of Comic-Con 2017 is in the books, and we got a glimpse at what Square Enix brought to Southern California’s biggest event this year, as well as the first rumblings of a live-action Mega Man movie.

But if you’re spending this weekend in your own living room, don’t worry, there’s a few new releases that’ll surely keep you busy. Motiga launched the free-to-play Gigantic today and Nintendo is releasing Splatoon 2 tomorrow (pretty much any minute now).

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 18 and July 19, 2017

We’re getting ready for this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con, and that means the past two days have been filled with new announcements from Telltale Games including Batman: The Enemy Within and The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Elsewhere, Nicalis revealed that The 90s Arcade Racer has received a name change and two new destinations (RIP Wii U).

And in the scandal of the season, Major League Baseball might have a problem with the logo for the Overwatch League.

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 17, 2017

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 14 – July 16, 2017

Disney fans the world over got to see what the Mouse House is up to at their D23 Expo this weekend, and for gamers, that means new looks at Kingdom Hearts III and Star Wars: Battlefront II.

We also learned when a handful of highly-anticipated indie games will be released including Tooth and Tail, Nidhogg II, and Sundered.

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 13, 2017

Conan played CupheadWolfenstein II: The New Colossus gave us a stern talking to in a German… Or Else! trailer… Sony slammed on the gas and announced a release date for Gran Turismo Sport… and Nintendo released Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix VR in Japanese arcades. We’re still in complete shock over that last one.

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 12, 2017

It was a typical midweek day for news as Microsoft and Sony updated their online storefronts with new titles (including Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2, and MotoGP 17. Capcom also announced a release date for the PS4/Xbox One re-release of Resident Evil Revelations and Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma mused about when fans can expect the next Legend of Zelda game (hint, it won’t be soon).

Warp Zoned’s Adventure Log: What Happened on July 11, 2017

A slow trickle of news continues to leak out in his sweltering post-E3/pre-Gamescom days, including release dates for The Escapists 2, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy, and Star Wars: Battlefront II’s Open Beta. We also received our first look at Fantasy Strike, a “deceptively simple” fighter, and Next Up Hero, a community brawler from the creator of Scribblenauts.

The Adventure Log: What Happened on July 10, 2017

Today was a good day, as Summer Games Done Quick 2017 raised a ton of money for charity and a pair of new games were confirmed for the Switch (Thimbleweed Park and WWE 2K18). Ron Gilbert’s latest point-and-click adventure game will also make its way to the PS4, and switching over to something completely different, the latest episode of the Content Crash podcast looked at “Violence In Games.”
