All Articles: Drop
Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson has a new game for you to play: Drop, a browser-based typing game that can be found at drop.notch.net.
Taking a bit of visual inspiration from Super Hexagon, Drop gives players a minimal background, a pulsing soundtrack, and a neverending parade of letters to type out.
It’s simple and it’s addictive. I apologize ahead of time to everyone who doesn’t get any work done today now that they’ve discovered Drop. I love that the letters aren’t just random strings, but actual words. Trying to guess the word and get ahead of the letters is half the challenge. Fantastic work, Mr. Persson.
