New Retail Releases: Call of Duty WWII, Spintires Mud Runner, Dot Hack G.U. Last Recode, More

Only a handful of new games will be available on store shelves this week, as most publishers are running scared from the pending launch of the latest game in the Call of Duty franchise. The PC, PS4, and Xbox One release of Call of Duty: WWII has built up quite a bit of hype this year, especially for its return to the European Theater of World War II
And if you’re thinking of upgrading to a PS4 Slim, Sony and Activision have teamed up to produce a special PS4 Slim 1TB + Call of Duty: WWII Limited Edition Bundle that’s decked out in a Green Camouflage color scheme.
But several other games will be available this week, including Bandai Namco’s Dot Hack G.U.: Last Recode (a PS4 remake of the entire Dot Hack G.U. trilogy) and Spintires: Mud Runner (a bizarro driving game for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One).
A complete rundown of this week’s new releases can be found after the break. (more…)

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Mutation Nation added to Xbox Store
A trio of new games were added to the Xbox Games Store this morning, but two of the three will definitely make a big splash on the digital storefront.
Leading the way is Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which is now available to download for the Xbox One. BJ Blazkowicz is back, and this time he’s taking the fight to the Nazis in the good old US of A. A new locale is also in store for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, which has shifted to Ancient Egypt for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which is also available to download now on the Xbox One.
Finally today, Hamster Corporation continues their series of NeoGeo re-releases on the Xbox One with Mutation Nation, a side-scrolling beat ’em up.

If you’re skipping the plumber’s latest rescue attempt, Switch owners will also be able to download retro-inspired RPG Moon Hunters and Ubisoft’s Monopoly adaptation (on Tuesday).
