This is how Nintendo is advertising the Wii U in the UK
With the console’s launch a little over a month away (it arrives in the UK on November 30), Nintendo has begun bombarding the airwaves with commercials for the Wii U. Watch what happens as you fling ninja stars at the screen in Nintendo Land (you yell “Pew! Pew! Pew” apparently) and watch how quickly the game jumps from your TV to your Wii U GamePad when your bored girlfriend demands the use of the telly (it happens very quickly).
New trailer for BioShock Infinite wants you to fight “Beast of America”
With an assist from Nico Vega (and their song “Beast”), Irrational Games has cut together a beautiful new gameplay trailer for BioShock Infinite. The trailer is a showcase for the new Sky-Hook weapon, as well as Elizabeth’s contributions to the combat. And it is amazing. Oh, and beautiful, did I mention beautiful?
BioShock Infinite will be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on February 26.

Weekly Warp-Up: Best Ever Edition
No, that’s not a typo. Welcome to the Weekly Warp-Up, your weekly wrap-up of the biggest and the best articles posted at Warp Zoned this week…
It’s been a busy week here at Warp Zoned as the staff has been busy arguing over The Scientifically Proven Top 100 Video Games of All Time. We smashed together six previous Top 100 lists to create a “Meta Top 100” and produced what we think is the most “accurate” Top 100 list yet.
You might agree with our ranking… or you might disagree… but it’s certainly interesting.
Oh, who am I kidding? Everyone agrees that the greatest game of all time is Tetris.
What? You don’t agree? I guess that’s alright. You can still check out the rest of the news from the week that was after the break. (more…)

Anarchy Reigns across US, Europe in January 2013

After inexplicably pushing the American release of Anarachy Reigns into limbo back in May, Sega confirmed today the game will make its way across the Pacific this January. Not only will the PS3 and Xbox 360 game be released on January 8 (January 11 in Europe), but it’ll also be available at a great price: $29.99.
“Focusing on online play with Anarchy Reigns presented a new challenge for us here at Platinum Games,” added Atsushi Inaba, Executive Director/Producer at Platinum Games. “Very few games fall under its genre of a melee-based online multiplayer brawler, so I think we’ve been able to supply a new kind of excitement that you can’t find anywhere else. While some time has passed since its Japan release, I look forward to having gamers in North American and Europe enjoy the Anarchy!”

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn – Part 3 is now available
It’s a fine Friday morning and that means one thing, a new episode of the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn webseries is available for your viewing pleasure. It makes a nice companion to the David Fincher-produced/Tim Miller-directed Halo 4 live-action trailer that went live late last night.
So what’s in store for Part 3? How about the continuing adventures of Hastati Squad…
Just as Hastati Squad is confronted by a video of secret ONI super-soldiers, their war and their whole universe are changed forever by a much more deadly surprise.
The fourth part of the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn webseries will be available next Friday, October 26.
