Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition includes most awesome/ridiculous statue ever
If you lay down your $99.99 to purchase the Injustice: Gods Among Us Collection’s Edition, available in April for the PS3 and Xbox 360, you’ll receive the statue above among your box of goodies. Look at it, I mean really look at it… Wonder Woman has lassoed Batman around the throat and is about to crush him with the spaceship that little Kal-El (AKA Superman) used to fly to Earth.
Deserves a place of honor on your mantle doesn’t it?
In addition to the 13″ statue, purchasers will receive a “Special Collector’s Edition” of a brand new DC Comics series, a digital download of DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom, and three exclusive skins based on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman from DC’s “New 52.”
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios are packing a different (and superior) statue in with the Injustice Collector’s Edition in the UK. You can check out that awesome piece after the break. (more…)

CoD Black Ops II Zombies Mode trailer is a road trip of rotting flesh
Activision and Treyarch have unveiled the first Zombies Mode trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II and it is quite exciting. A quiet road trip through the American countryside turns into a tour bus full of DOOM once the zombies attack. Check out the full trailer above!
Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be available on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on November 13. The Wii U version will follow later in the week on November 18.
XBLA Today: Hell Yeah, Marvel vs Capcom Origins

Microsoft has added two games to the Xbox Live Arcade today.
First up is the absolute insanity that is Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. Arkedo’s platformer is perhaps the only game in existence where a deranged (and dead) rabbit uses a buzzsaw to decapitate the legions of Satan:
You’re an angry rabbit with a thirst for vengeance, a super sawing jetpack driller and some seriously badass weapons. Explore, jump, shoot, loot, upgrade, drill and destroy Hell’s monsters. ALL OF THEM. Unleash the wrath of the dead rabbit in 10 huge levels packed with hidden areas, side quests and cursed souls to harvest.Charging through Hell on your jetpack driller, you’re on a quest to find out who had the balls to post your intimate photos all over the Hell-ternet. It’s payback time! While you’re at it, why not use this incredible journey to kill everybody else? There’s only one way to do this – FULL FRONTAL VIOLENCE sponsored by over-powered missiles, rockets and grenades! Inflict ultimate humiliation on the monsters of Hell using deadly “Finish him!” mini-games (includes the signature Dinosaur beheading). Grab as much loot as you can and spend it in big shops where you can buy bigger guns and awesome upgrades for your ride.
Also available today is Marvel vs Capcom: Origins, which collects the Marvel-only Marvel Super Heroes and the first Marvel vs Capcom game:
The heroes of Marvel are back on the fighting ground, ready to do battle with Capcom’s greatest legends, and with each other. In Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, you get two classic 90s Marvel arcade games for the price of one! Both Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom play like their original arcade versions – with fast-paced, over-the-top fighting action – but now feature upgraded HD visuals and customizable appearances, online play, replay-saving and spectator mode, and a dynamic challenge system that earns points for unlockable goodies. Fight like a hero, play like a legend!
Hell Yeah! and Marvel vs Capcom: Origins are both available to download for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).

3D Realms to crowdfund their next game, Earth No More
The European-based, game-centric crowdfunding site Gambitious launched yesterday and the platform is already making waves. Gambitious has already attracted projects from Gl33k, Red Fly Studio, and Mutant Games, but the site will also raise money for Earth No More, the next game from 3D Realms.
The Duke Nukem 3D developer is hard at work on the game with a “mystery developer” in a co-development deal similar to the ones that produced Max Payne and Prey. Earth No More will be a first person shooter that will take more than a little inspiration from the “red weed” from The War of the Worlds:
Mankind’s relentless destruction of Earth awakens a biological response from deep within the planet’s crust that threatens an environmental apocalypse.
Gamers will get a chance to fund Earth No More (if they live in Europe, that is) as soon as the project goes live on Gambitious.

Nintendo confirms Wii U launch day lineup

Nintendo released a tentative launch window lineup after their Wii U media event on September 13. Today, the consolemaker has published the official launch lineup, which includes 23 titles available on launch day.
Assassin’s Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition, ZombieU, and a whole slew of other games will be available on November 18. At least nine more titles (including Madden NFL 13) will make their way to stores (or the Wii U eShop) before the month is over.
An additional 20 games have been tagged as “launch window” titles, meaning they’ll be available sometime before March 31, 2013.
Three games which were listed on the tentative list are no longer considered launch window titles: Zumba Fitness Core, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and (brace yourself) Bayonetta 2. Presumably, they’ll be available in mid-2013 or later.

PSN Today: Grand Theft Auto III, Tokyo Jungle, Dead or Alive 5, Hell Yeah, more

Even if there were replacement referees judging a contest between the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Live Marketplace, and the Wii Shop, Sony would come out way ahead. And they proved why again today by dumping a massive quantity of quality games onto the PlayStation Store. All told, 17 new games are now available on the download service, and here’s a few highlights, starting with one of the greatest games of all time:
- After a slight delay, Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto III joins the store as part of the PS2 Classics line.
- FIFA Soccer 13 corner kicks its way onto the store in three different versions (PS3, PSP, and Vita).
- It’s the end of the world as we know it, but the animals found in the Tokyo Jungle (PSN) are cool with that.
- The futuristic Starhawk (PS3) is now available to download in both a full version and a special multiplayer only edition.
- EA’s underappreciated classic, Mirror’s Edge (PS3), is also available to download.
- A pair of fighting games, Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins (PSN) and Dead or Alive 5 (PS3) will battle it out for your affections.
- The absolutely insane Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit would make a hell of a download.
- And LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is now available to download, wait for it, on the PS Vita.
You can find even more new releases after the break along with a ton of new game add-ons at the PlayStation Blog. (more…)
