It’s a gorgeous day, both in terms of weather, and because Final Form released Jamestown+ on PlayStation 4 today! This is something wonderful to celebrate, and I can’t wait to enjoy the beautiful weather on the way home until I get there and download the game and play it all night. Oh, and maybe stop to get some takeout or something. All in all it’s shaping up to be an awesome night!

Well, it seems all of the excitement has caught up with me. After launching a Kickstarter, exhibiting to PAX East, and then spending a full week working and talking, my laryngitis turned into a full-blown infection. I’m home today not talking at all and sipping tea with honey. We also finally set up the humidifier, which I’ve been napping next to. Hopefully this infection goes away quickly! I miss talking.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been so happy to see a weekend. After PAX East, we came home and still spent every night doing stuff and every day working! So I’m completely exhausted. We have a party tonight and then my entire family is coming Sunday, so between now and then I really need to clean, and go food shopping, and get a cake, and, you know. Everything. But hopefully I’ll have at least a tiny bit of time in there to play some games!

There have been a ton of t-shirts lately. It’s definitely not a complaint! In fact, I’m pretty excited about it. There still hasn’t been one good enough for me to break my streak of not getting one, but… I’m sure that will come up soon!

There are so many great games coming out, and two of them have been in the last two days. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number came out yesterday, and I couldn’t be more excited to play it. Today it’s Oni and the Blind Forest, which is absolutely beautiful. The game releases are starting to pick up!

I’m so sorry for my absence! I launched a Kickstarter campaign for my card game, RESISTOR_, last Tuesday, and reached the goal by Wednesday, so Wednesday was a frantic day of trying to get an update up and pack for PAX East! Anthony Amato and I left that night and didn’t get back until yesterday morning. We’re back in the swing of things now! We had a blast at the show, even if I totally lost my voice.

While it isn’t exactly all birds and flowers out there, it is much warmer than usual. It’s a rare day when it’s in the 30s and I am too warm! So I think it’s safe to say that spring is coming. Of course, that’s what I say now, but once I’m in Boston in a few days, I will forget spring ever existed!
