Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be released for the PS4 in Fall 2015

NIS America has been busy with a lot of announcements! The most recent one, and definitely my favorite, is that Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be coming to the PlayStation 4 in Fall 2015 in North America and Europe. Here’s what players can expect, according to the PlayStation Blog:
As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign — Killia. In Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, you will lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels in their struggle against Dark Void. Along their dark path to vengeance, you will encounter more hilarious writing, over-the-top animations, and absurd damage numbers than anyone has seen in a Disgaea game. Ever.
It’s a tale of revenge and rebellion that is sure to be chock-full of that trademark Disgaea hilarity. There are some new features, including Alliance Attacks, which depend on relationships between characters; and Revenge Mode, which boosts your character stats based on – you guessed it – revenge. There’s also the ability to explore the Netherworlds in more detail.
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be out in North America and Europe in the Fall of 2015 for the PlayStation 4.

NIS America will release The Awakened Fate Ultimatum on March 17
The Awakened Fate Ultimatum will be coming to PlayStation 3 on March 17, and you can order it now at the NISA Online Store. There’s the regular edition, and then three exclusive sets to choose from – “Angelic,” “Devilish,” and “Ultimate Fate,” the last of which is pictured above and will include everything from the other two sets plus more. NISA knows how to treat its fans!
The complete details on the contents of all four editions of the game can be perused at the NIS America Store.
For those of you unfamiliar with the game, it follows a human boy who gets stabbed by devils, and is saved by a mysterious girl. He’s had the “Fate Awakening Crystal” implanted into his chest, which turns him into God. “He finds himself thrust into the middle of the war between angels and devils,” which is sort of to be expected at this point. “He must harness his newly awakened powers, choose how to use them, and ultimately decide which of the two new girls in his life he will do anything to save.”
Check out The Awakened Fate Ultimatum when it releases on March 17 for PlayStation 3.

NIS America will release Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy for Vita in Spring 2015
NIS America has announced that they’ll be bringing Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy to North America and Europe for the PlayStation Vita in the Spring of 2015. This dungeon-crawler RPG will be available as a digital release as well as a physical one.
The game is set in near-future Tokyo, with genetically engineered monsters called Variants, as well as portals to another dimension called the Abyss. The Code Physics Agency has been created to do some investigating, and have created a group of – you guessed it – teenagers called the Xth Squad to check things out.
The game includes a customization system so you can recruit and train your teens, as well as a “unique cyberpunk story.” New Tokyo will be home to over 40 hours of dungeon-crawling, for those of you looking for something to keep you occupied while you wait for Disgaea 5.

SteinsGate will be released in US/Europe next year
SteinsGate, an extremely popular visual novel in Japan, will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita in 2015 in both the United States and Europe, according to publisher PQube. Siliconera asked PQube’s Geraint Evans if the Sony versions would use the same translation as the PC version from 2014, but he replied that it was unclear.
Siliconera also asked if the game would be a retail release or digital-only, to which Evans said, “I’m personally against digital-only releases, so I will do my very best to ensure a physical release happens. I don’t want to imagine a world where there’s no physical copy of SteinsGate in my collection.”
SteinsGate is currently out on PC, and will be out on the PS3 and Vita next year.

Final Fantasy XV’s TGS 2014 trailer has been translated into English
Remember that wild trailer that Square Enix released for Final Fantasy XV during the Tokyo Game Show? Well, we finally get to hear the English voice actors and understand what’s going on. I mean, as much as anyone can ever understand what’s happening in a Final Fantasy trailer.
Final Fantasy XV might be released next year on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Watch Until Dawn’s full PlayStation Experience demo right here
Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn was playable at the PlayStation Experience that Sony recently held in Las Vegas. And if you weren’t able to attend, here’s an eight-minute video presentation of the full demo that the developer brought to the show. You can see as Sam (Hayden Panettiere) gets interrupted while taking a bath, and then has to run through a creepy house with no lights on while wearing nothing but a towel. I cannot believe that towel did not fall off. Those physics are off the charts.
Until Dawn is scheduled to be released in 2015 for the PlayStation 4.
