The fall is really here. I mean really! I was freezing all day yesterday. Not that it’s difficult for me to be cold, but seriously! It was chilly. These aren’t complaints, by the way – I love autumn weather! I just want it to last a little while. I do love my Tokidoki winter coat, but I also love jackets, and sitting outside drinking hot chocolate, and that time just before you have to start wearing gloves. Also being able to have my windows open, and fireplaces. But most of all, I love it when you wake up on a nice crisp Sunday morning, early enough to make pancakes and pop in a great video game and play it for a few hours. I can’t drink coffee anymore, but I’m tempted to run my coffee machine just so my apartment smells like coffee. Coffee and Borderlands 2. Delicious.

Wow. I’ve spent something like 27 hours in Pandora over the last few days. If I didn’t have to go to the doctor twice (four hours!) or DM for Encounters (three hours!) or sleep (too many hours!), it might have been more. Oh, and I’m back at work today, which eats into my Borderlands 2 time even more. While playing through solo with Zer0 is pretty tough, it’s worth it. He is seriously a badass.

No deals today. Nothing going on at all today. Everyone is just playing the games that came out in the last few months, or attacking their backlogs. Seriously – you don’t need anymore games. Don’t do it, bro!

Instead, go pre-order the new Borderlands book, Borderlands #2: Unconquered. Or get ready for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Pick your flavor! Or do both. All the things!

It’s Friday at last! And I’m afraid I’m still sick. Fever + tummy problems = a sad panda. I am still slogging through it to do some laundry, though that cleaning I really wanted to get done is just going to have to get put off yet again. At least I can still play video games! Right now I’m deciding between more of The Last Story on the Wii or Link’s Awakening on my 3DS. Decisions, decisions…

But the big news right now is that I found out there’s a midnight release of Borderlands 2 right here in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love does not often hold these midnight releases, so I’m glad my most anticipated game of the year is one of them! Don’t expect me to be coherent next week, folks.

Whew. After having a battle with the Internet people and then stopping off to pre-order Borderlands 2, then doing laundry and washing the dishes and feeding myself, I am wiped out. Having a fever on a beautiful day should be illegal. Also so should conglomerates that have a monopoly on Internet consumption. Also spiders, and expensive plane tickets.

At last week’s Dungeons & Dragons Encounter session, my party did pretty well – they were able to defeat the ambushing svirfneblin and finish the encounter out. My boyfriend’s party, however, suffered a TPK (total party knockout), which left many disgruntled folks. They have created a new party from the ashes, and will try to survive the evening. We’ll see how that goes!

Nothing is going on today, really. I mean, other than the fact that I’ve decided to start using Twitter again, and through it, am kept in the loop way more than I ever was on Facebook. Also, I want to go to PAX Australia. I have family over there. What are the odds they are near PAX? (Please say good!)
