It’s a weird and rainy Thursday here in Philadelphia, and I’ve got Lady Gaga in my head. It’s so close to the weekend I can practically taste it!

Anyway, Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today is Nintendo’s Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii. It’s marked down to $16.99 from $49.99! That’s a lot of dollar signs. They’ve also got a Gold Box deal coming up: “Engaged in tension-filled battles against a new, ferocious enemy in the most dangerous and suspenseful action ever.” Wow! That couldn’t be more vague.

Lots of great sales going on today! GameFly is having a huge sale on games for all three consoles: PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. There are tons of games at super low prices, so if you’ve been waiting to pick up some 2011 games on the cheap, now’s your chance!

Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today a $50 promotional credit if you buy an Xbox 360 250GB Console with Kinect. Not too shabby, but not enough for me to want to buy one just yet! I’m still waiting on the R2D2 Xbox…

Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today is Activision’s Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360. This classic shooter is just $14.99 today, and is a fantastic way to get ready for the upcoming Modern Warfare 3. Scoop it up!

Daily Scoop: September 8, 2011 – Rain, rain, rain

It’s yet another rainy day here in Philadelphia, and I’m drooling on my copy of Resistance 3 that I finally picked up. What better way to spend a rainy day than by killing chimera? I may even wear the necklace I got for pre-ordering it at GameStop. Hellz yeah!

Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today is Bejeweled Twist by PopCap Games. This Nintendo DS game is on sale for $12.99, and boasts five game modes – “Classic, Blitz, Challenge, Zen and the new 2-player, ad-hoc wireless.” If our editor John Scalzo doesn’t already own this, I’m sure he’s going to buy it today!

Yay, Wednesday! Truth be told, I’m about to spend the rest of this morning – err, going into afternoon – running errands, and picking up the copy of Resistance 3 I didn’t go out and get yesterday. Bad Nicole!

It’s a rainy Tuesday here in Philadelphia. After a long day spent playing board games, writing, and watching people play Warhammer, it’s nice to lounge around and do nothing… but write, that is!

Today’s Deal of the Day in video games is Disney’s Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales for the Wii. It’s just $14.99, and boasts both cooperative and competitive play for up to four players. But the real question is: does it have Bruce Campbell?

Daily Scoop: September 2, 2011 – Holiday weekend!

Yay! The holiday weekend is upon us! I’m looking forward to doing a lot of reading and gaming and sleeping, as well as cuddling with my kitties. Oh, and of course, obsessively playing all the NES games I just got on my 3DS! Ambassador status FTW!
