Kevin Conroy hints at January release date for Batman: Arkham Knight

When Kevin Conroy speaks, you listen. Not only is the prolific voice actor the preferred Batman for an entire generation of kids, but he also has a habit of revealing secrets about the games he’s going to appear in. Good for us, bad for the publishers behind those games.

About a year ago, Conroy inadvertently revealed the existence of Batman: Arkham Knight at the Dallas Comic Con. This past weekend, while the rest of the world was recovering from E3, Conroy was at the Denver Comic-Con and dropped this little nugget on Groovey TV:

“I have a massive game you may have heard of called Arkham Knight. It was supposed to come out in January, we’ve been working on it for a year and a half, it’s still not done. So it’s going to come out next January, but I know everyone is frustrated. The reason it’s been delayed is because it’s so awesome.”

Batman: Arkham Knight was originally scheduled to launch for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this Fall before WB Games pushed it back to 2015. Will it be available in January, as Conroy said, we’ll just have to wait and see.
