MS @ E3 13: Dead Rising 3 announced as Xbox One exclusive

Dead Rising 3 is exclusively coming to the Xbox One. The game will star a new main character, Nick Ramos, and take place in the dusty border town of Los Perdidos.
Dead Rising 3 looks to add more zombies to the series than ever before and more gunplay too. But don’t worry, improvised melee weapons (like a mini-chainsaw) are still available. Owing to its “open world” nature, Dead Rising 3 will also include a much bigger emphasis on vehicles than ever before. And SmartGlass support will allow players to perform bigger actions such as calling in an air strike.
Capcom Vancouver showed the first gameplay footage of Dead Rising 3 during the Microsoft Press Conference and it matches up pretty closely with a rumor report from December 2011. So Dead Rising 3 has probably been in development for a few years now.
It’s scheduled to be a launch title for the Xbox One.

Capcom has a “big surprise” planned for E3 2013

Capcom has announced that they’re bringing four games to this year’s E3 Expo, which begins this Tuesday, June 11. The company has also promised that they have a “big surprise” to share with fans.
Here’s Capcom’s E3 2013 lineup (sans the big surprise):
- DuckTales: Remastered (PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)
- Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara (PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)
- Lost Planet 3 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies (3DS)
What do you think Capcom’s “big surprise” will be?
