Driveclub is Evolution Studios’ PS4 racing game

Evolution Studios is working on a first-person racing game for the PlayStation 4 known as Driveclub.
The game is built around “team-based racing” and is about “driving the very best cars in the greatest locations in the world.” Driveclub will feature asyncronous challenges that can be monitored through a tablet app.
Evolution is recreating the cars with “obsessive love” and the team has been working on the idea behind Driveclub for ten years.
Hopefully, it won’t take that long to learn more about the game.

Guerrilla officially unveils Killzone: Shadow Fall

Herman Hulst, the Managing Director at Guerrilla Games, has introduced the second PlayStation 4 game of tonight’s Meeting 2013, Killzone: Shadow Fall.
The trailer begins as some VSA VIP gets a first-person helicopter, and then walking, tour of Vekta City… Oh no! Bomb! Helghast spies are everywhere!
It’s at this point that the “trailer” segues into a playable first-person section as the VIP guns down a ton of Helghast spies. Eventually, the player grabs onto a hovercraft and Spider-Mans his way across the city hanging on for dear life.
We’ve seen this trick before (remember Killzone 2‘s debut at E3 2005?), but what we’re seeing sure is purty.

Knack is the first official PS4 game
Sony has revealed the first game for the PlayStation 4 during their “Meeting 2013” presentation.
Knack will be directed by Mark Cerny, who is a veteran of the Crash Bandicoot series, among others. The game is in development at Sony Japan Studio and features a cartoony war between humans and orcs. The humans believe they can turn the tide with Knack, a tiny robot that can suck up smaller robots to become something much larger.
Knack, like the PlayStation 4, has no release date yet.

DualShock 4 is everything we thought it would be
Sony has introduced the DualShock 4 controller during their PlayStation 4 reveal and it’s everything the rumors said it would be.
The DualShock 4 will be a major improvement over the SixAxis/DualShock 3 with reduced latency, an improved rumble feature, a headphone jack, a “Share” button for social networking, a front touchpad, and a lightbar on the top of the controller.
The lightbar is “a simpler way to identify players” and it works with a radio bar/3D camera that resembles Microsoft’s Kinect sensor.
More from Sony’s “Meeting 2013” soon.

2K officially signs on as publisher of future WWE games
2K and the WWE have finally reached an agreement that makes 2K the official publisher of all WWE-related games for the foreseeable future. The agreement begins with this year’s WWE 14, which is in development at Yuke’s and will be released this Fall as usual.

“The WWE series is a great addition to our stable of AAA titles, and we’re very happy with this exclusive agreement with our new partners,” said David Ismailer, Chief Operating Officer for 2K. “We look forward to capturing the excitement of WWE and marrying it with the same commitment to authenticity and entertainment that we give to our NBA 2K and MLB 2K franchises.”
“2K’s reputation for outstanding quality and dedication to authenticity are a perfect fit for WWE,” added Casey Collins, Executive Vice President, Consumer Products for WWE. “This new partnership will ensure that WWE continues to be one of the leading video game brands in the world and we look forward to continuing the franchise with the benefit of their expertise across a variety of platforms.”
It’s unknown what this deal means for WWE Brawl and WWE WrestleFest, the two other WWE games THQ had in development at the time of their demise.
