Explore “Star Wars Hell” in this Star Wars 1313 developer diary
The development team behind Star Wars 1313, including Creative Director Dominic Robilliard, has unleashed their first developer diary detailing the grim and gritty world they’ve created. Dubbed “Descent to the Underworld” by the team, it’s the first real look inside the “Star Wars Hell” they’re creating for Coruscant’s 1313 level. One of the developers even said that the location can be thought of as a parallel to Dante’s Inferno (the book, not the game).
However, the bounty hunter at the center of it all remains nameless. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about him soon.

These Grand Theft Auto V screenshots are strictly business
Rockstar Games has decided to close out the week with a final batch of of Grand Theft Auto V screenshots. Today’s theme is “Business” and Rockstar is clearly taking care of it as they give us new images featuring two high-speed police chases, a biplane getaway, and a helicopter sniper taking out a thug. You can peep all four screenshots after the break.

Nintendo Download: Vector Racing, Metal Slug X, Abyss
Nintendo is going way back in time with today’s additions to the Nintendo Download services.
The title of this week’s headline title, Vector Racing, says it all… It’s a racing game that uses old school vector graphics! Well slap me silly and call me Jeff Bridges! You can download it from the 3DS eShop now.
Here’s what else Nintendo has on offer this week:
Vector Racing (3DS eShop) – Enjoy a new, high-speed racing game that recalls the video games of yore. Use one of six different machines to race across 12 courses — some easy, some insane — in four different modes.
Metal Slug X (Wii Virtual Console) – This game is based on Metal Slug 2, but adds the new “Iron Lizard” and “Drop Shot” weapons. It also adds many new enemies and allows players to adjust the game’s difficulty level by changing the position of bosses and other things.
Abyss (DSiWare) – Your mission will be to find the “Gaia” energy stones by exploring the depths. To do so, you must control Nep2no by counteracting gravity and the surrounding darkness with the aid of a Light that will go out little by little.
Nintendo holding Wii U press event on September 13

Since it’s splashy appearance at this year’s E3 Expo, Nintendo has been mostly quiet about the Wii U. That looks to change next month as the company has announced they’re holding a special Wii U media event on September 13.
Sadly, the Big N didn’t come right out and say that the price and a launch date would be revealed during this event. But Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime did say that he plans to discuss “more about how the Wii U will change the future of gaming and entertainment.”
What else could Nintendo possibly have to share besides A) when we’ll get to play it and B) how much it’ll cost to take it home?
Looking back at the Wii’s launch window, there’s reason to be hopeful that Nintendo will announce the release window and/or the price next month. Back in 2006, Nintendo announced the Wii’s price and launch date on September 14. Hmm…
