Seriously, it is so cold right now. I am not the kind of person who longs to live in a warmer climate – in fact, I really enjoy having four seasons. But it’s weeks like this one that make me want to throw the diverseness of seasons to the wind and move somewhere warmer. Like, I don’t know, the surface of the sun.

It’s Groundhog’s Day here in the states, and that little bugger is predicting six more weeks of winter. Honestly, I wouldn’t say that’s surprising to any of us, seeing as so many of my friends are currently snowed in. All we got here in Philadelphia was a little snow and a ton of rain, making everything a slushy mess. It’s depressing.

But what isn’t depressing are today’s deals! There’s a new Humble Mobile Bundle, and this one’s all Cartoon Network Games! It’s Friday, which means it’s almost time for our break from the work week! I’ve got games piled on top of games at home, and I can’t wait to dive into them. Dying Light has been especially fun, despite my inability to do parkour (in real life or video game life).

Free stuff is obviously the best. Right now, you can get two free card games via the Humble Bundle – Card City Nights and Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space. And that incredible card game bundle is still going, which you should definitely pick up as soon as possible.

Speaking of free, if you have a PlayStation Plus account, they’ve just announced the free games of February. You can nab Apotheon and Transistor for PS4, Thief and Yakuza 4 for PS3, and Kick & Fennick and Rogue Legacy for the Vita. That’s a pretty good haul!

The Weekend Deal at Steam right now is Ryse: Son of Rome for $19.99. Their Daily Deal today is Hearts of Iron III, which is on sale for $2.49.

Video Game V is running out of time over at Story Bundle, so pick it up while you can! I’m personally getting it for Boss Fight Books: Super Mario Bros. 2, but I want to read them all.

No, I’m not talking about the company, I’m talking about this epic snowstorm we were supposed to get. It turned out to be a major disappointment! I was hoping for a lovely day of hot chocolate and video games, with occasional glances out the window at the winter beauty. Instead, the snow is nearly gone already. Boo!

Over at Steam, their Midweek Madness deal is the wonderful Portal 2! Get one copy of the game for $4.99, or two copies for $8.74 (so you can play co-op!). Get it bundled with the first game for $6.24. The Daily Deal is Minimum, which is on sale for just $2.49. You can also get the Team Pack for $8.74, which gives you five copies of the game.

My city is in a panic, as are all the cities around me, about the upcoming snowstorm. So far, this blizzard has been nothing but a dud. Supposedly it got pushed back to 6pm, but we’ll see. I could go for a snow day! I haven’t had any time to play video games lately, and it’s bumming me out.

Just in case we do have a snow day, we should probably know what’s on sale at Steam. There are 103 new Weeklong Deals, including Shadowgate (2014) for $4.99, Descent for $3.49, and Teleglitch: Die More Edition for $4.41. The Daily Deal is Painkiller Hell & Damnation. Somehow, John Scalzo and I have been so busy that we missed Warp Zoned’s birthday. WZ turned 4 years old on 1/1/15. We launched her on 1/11/11. I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who has stuck with us, believed in us, and read all of our articles. It’s been an amazing four years, and I’m happier than ever!
