“Autobots transform!” Original voice cast returns for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Activision has released the voice cast for their upcoming sequel, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and fans of the original series are in for a treat. Topping the list are two fan favourites… Peter Cullen is returning as the sage voice of Autobot leader Optimus Prime, while Gregg Berger, the man behind the hulking Dinobot Grimlock, will be bringing many of his trademark soundbites to the video game. I can’t wait to hear him howl, “Me Grimlock no bozo! Me king!”
In addition to this, many of the actors from Transformers: War for Cybertron will be returning, including Naughty Dog veteran Nolan North as Brawl, Bruticus, and Cliffjumper. Troy Baker, soon to be heard in The Last of Us, returns as Jetfire, while also tackling the roles of Jazz and Kickback. Fred Tatasciore (Megatron, others), Steve Blum (Shockwave, others), and Isaac C. Singleton (Soundwave) have also benn welcomed back into the fray, the trio voicing most of the Decepticons.
You’ll be able to hear all their cybernetically enhanced vocal boxes when Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for the Xbox 260, PlayStation 3, and PC on August 28. Or, you can check out the announcement trailer above.

Miyamoto considering Majora’s Mask remake, Link to the Past remake/sequel for 3DS
With the success of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, it was only inevitable that Nintendo would quickly offer up another adventure featuring Link and friends on the handheld console. The only question was, would it be another 3D remake of one of the classics amongst the back catalogue, or would it be an entirely new adventure? Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma previously confirmed that an original Zelda game for the handheld was in the works, but that may not be the only one.
Speaking to IGN, Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that the next Zelda game might be a rerelease of the N64’s Majora’s Mask or a project somehow tied to the Super NES title A Link to the Past. Whether that’s a remake, a sequel, or something else entirely was left up in the air.
Here’s what the famed developer told IGN at E3: “We haven’t quite decided yet, whether we’re going to do A Link to the Past, because there’s also the possibility of doing a remake of Majora’s Mask. This is something we’ve certainly been talking about and doing a little bit of experimenting with, to figure out which way we’re going to go.”
While Majora’s Mask may be easier to develop, A Link to the Past may find a wider audience with those gamers who didn’t play it the first time around (can you believe it’s 20 years old?). The top-down RPG is considered the best in the series by many, and Miyamoto first expressed an interest in a 3DS remake last November.
Which game would you want?

Nintendo Download: Amazing Spider-Man demo, Donkey Kong Jr., Mega Man X2, more
This week’s Nintendo Download includes another major 3DS demo. Today, gamers will be able to experience the handheld adventures of The Amazing Spider-Man before he swings his way into stores on June 26.
But that’s not all, Nintendo has also added a ton of classic games to their three download services today:
Donkey Kong Jr. (3DS eShop) – In this timeless classic, clamber up vines and chains and gather vital fruit and keys to free your father, Donkey Kong, who’s been imprisoned by Mario.
Mad Dog McCree (3DS eShop) – When the ruthless outlaw Mad Dog McCree goes on a rampage with a nasty pack ofwanted fugitives, they leave death in their wake. The only gunslinger who can stop them is you.
Mega Man X2 (Wii Virtual Console) – Fresh from defeating Sigma and his Mavericks, Mega Man X tracks down the remaining rogue Reploids to an abandoned factory where they are continuing their rebellion. While Mega Man X is kept busy by eight new Mavericks, a new threat plots to resurrect a secret weapon that is all too familiar.
Devil Band: Rock the Underworld (DSiWare) – Millions of demons and monsters emerge from the earth, destroying everything on their wake. Xavier, the most popular (and most evil) Death Metal rock band around the world, might be the only hope for the mankind…
7 Wonders II (DSiWare) – Match three to help your workers build the unbelievable sights from Stonehenge to the Taj Mahal.

Daily Scoop: June 14, 2012 – Shopping Kart
It’s another gorgeous day here, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We never really get spring or fall here in Philadelphia, so having these beautiful days in June is wonderful! Even after playing D&D last night and getting killed in the second round – no, like really killed, I went from five hit points to negative bloodied in one hit – it’s still a lovely day.
So, deals! What’s up for today? Well, Buy.com has what they refer to as “Killer Gaming Deals,” but these aren’t so great – the first one is Resistance 3 for $26.99, but that’s $19.99 on Amazon, and you can even get the Doomsday Edition there for $103.16. Stop being so lame, Buy.com!
In other news, there are two shirts for gamers today: (more…)

Bored of waiting for the next Fallout? While away the time in Radiated Wasteland

For those who cannot wait another minute to tackle the mutants and rairders of a dark humoured post-apocalypitic world, you can celebrate with the announcement of Radiated Wasteland, a free-to-play MMORPG from Copenhagen outfit Pixel Pandemic. The browser-based game, set for release on Facebook, will pit players against NPCs that sound very familiar: radiated ghouls, fierce mutants and merciless raiders.
The game promises turn-based gameplay and fully customizable avatars which can be equipped with any items a player can find, a skilltree, and other perks amidst a rich storyline of post-apocalyptic popular culture. It will also feature co-op gameplay, the likes of which Pixel Pandemic says has not yet been seen on a Facebook game, drawing from classic MMORPGs for inspiration. The artwork certainly suggests it’s been inspired by Fallout 3.
With no word yet on when the game will debut, gamers are invited to visit the official Radiated Wasteland website to sign up for news on the beta release.

Daily Scoop: June 13, 2012 – Another great t-shirt day
Hello hello, faithful friends! It’s a beautiful Wednesday here in Philadelphia. We had quite a storm yesterday, and it appears to have done its job and lowered the temperature. I can’t recall a June this lovely!
Anyway, what scoops have I got for you today? Not much, I’m afraid. There aren’t too many sales going on, other than Amazon’s Dads and Grads deals. Get Battlefield 3 for $36.99, Starcraft II for $39.99, or the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for $29.99, among many others. They’ve also got a page dedicated to E3 pre-orders, which is pretty interesting. Can Dead Space 3 be at my door yet?
One absolutely awesome gaming t-shirt today: (more…)
