Daily Scoop: December 2, 2011 – A reason for the Skeeson

YAY! It’s Friday! We made it to the end of the week, people. That is reason to celebrate! Though I have to sadly admit that my skeeball league team, the Alex Mack Daddies, had our first loss last night during the finals. It was an amazing game, though, and we all rolled well, and the skeeson was awesome, so I can’t really be too sad! And the weekend begins in just a few short hours, so really… what’s there to be sad about?

Certainly not today’s deals, that’s for sure!

It’s the fourth day of Amazon’s 19 Days of Deals, and today they’ve got accessories galore! Thinking about getting that Nerf Armor for your 3DS? Maybe you want some extra, off-brand Wii wheels? Scoop ’em up!

Daily Scoop: December 1, 2011 – I’ve got the blues

I know it’s a Thursday, but it feels like a Monday! Such a Monday. I think it’s the fact that I wake up and it’s dark, and I leave work and it’s dark, and I didn’t get my Starbucks this morning, and why can’t it already be Friday… or better yet, Sunday, so I can already be playing Mario Kart 7? The nerve of this Thursday.

Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering what’s up on Amazon for their third day of 19 Days of Deals! It’s PC Games, and has a pretty wide variety – you can get downloads of Darksiders or Metro 2033 for $4.99, Sid Meier’s Civ V Game of the Year Edition or L.A. Noire for $29.99, and many others. Daily Scoop: November 30, 2011 – It’s the end of the month as we know it

…and I feel fine! I mean, I can’t believe tomorrow is December already, but I’m not wigging out as hard as most people are. The crazy Christmas rush is about to begin! I’m glad I do most of my shopping online. I can’t cope with stores anymore!

Amazon has a crazy amount of deals going on, building up to the holiday. Today is the second day of their 19 Days of Deals, and it’s Action Games! They’ve got Dead Island and Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $29.99 ($19.99 on PC), Rage and Resistance 3 for $39.99, and BioShock 2 and Duke Nukem Forever for $9.99. There’s loads more, so check it out!

Daily Scoop: November 16, 2011 – Rainy day woman

It’s Wednesday, and it’s a beautiful rainy day – not too cold, not too rainy, just a general kind of soggy day. Back in high school, my soccer coach was obsessed with Bob Dylan, and named all of our plays after his songs – and nicknamed some of us as well. I was Rainy Day Woman, so when it rains, I always think about him.

Whew! Anyway! Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games continues on their Black Friday Deals with up to 75% off Collector’s Editions! There’s Killzone 3: Helghast Edition for $39.99, Disney Epic Mickey Collector’s Edition for $34.99, and even the Bully Scholarship Edition for $5. Some interesting stuff there on the cheap! Oh yeah, and the Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition for $17.99. *snicker*

Daily Scoop: November 15, 2011 – Make some noise

It’s Tuesday, yay! Not as good as Friday, but not nearly as bad as Monday. And my day started out with me nearly taking an adorable kitten home with me. How could a day start out better than that???

Anyway, Amazon continues their early Black Friday deals today with a “Digital Download Day” as their Deal of the Day in video games. It’s mostly Sims games, with a smattering of others, including Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition for $9.99. If you’re into digital games and want to sweep a bunch up for cheap, this sounds like the perfect deal for you!

GameFly is also having a huge used sale, with more than a few games for under $10. There are PS3 games, Wii games, and Xbox 360 games in the sale. Duke Nukem Forever and Brink are $5.99 used, and that is about how much I would recommend paying for them!

Daily Scoop: November 14, 2011 – MEPACon is over!

Well, it’s been a long weekend for me, folks! I headed out to MEPACon from Friday to Sunday, where I played a staggering 28+ hours of Dungeons and Dragons. It was glorious! But now I’m back at work, and I’m exhausted. I really want to action point and take a nap.

Can that be done?

Anyway, Amazon’s starting Black Friday early! Today’s Deal of the Day in video games is a bunch of four star games for under $20. There are some good ones on there – Bioshock 2 is like 10 bucks! Scoop it up, y’all!
