Daily Scoop: November 7, 2011 – Vacation over edition
Hi, kids! I’m sad to say my vacation is over, but happy to say I’m back to give you the scoop on where and how to get games on the cheap! I know you’re just so thrilled. And I know most of you actually read this for the t-shirt tips and not the game tips. Don’t lie!
Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today is EA’s The Sims 3: Pets. It’s on sale today for $29.95 for the 3DS, PS3, and Xbox 360 – errr, apparenly it’s on sale for the week as a new weekly deal! Amazon’s other weekly deals are:

Daily Scoop: November 1, 2011 – Nathan Drake is back, baby!
Whew. I’ve had quite a day with Drake and the crew. I’ll give one spoiler: this game is awesome. I’m making my way through it slowly – actually, I was just getting my butt kicked so I decided to take a break. I’m at a stealthy part, and there are only so many dudes I can stealth before I feel a profound need to chuck a propane tank in someone’s grill. Amirite?
Anyway, a quick deal for everyone: Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games is Ubisoft’s Red Steel 2 with MotionPlus. This Wii exclusive is on sale today for $25.99 from $59.99.
Also worth mentioning is today’s killer t-shirt over at TeeFury, which is an absolutely must have for all Zelda fans: (more…)

Daily Scoop: October 31, 2011 – Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween, everyone! What did you get dressed up as this weekend? Something video game related, I’m assuming! My boyfriend and I decided to go as Heisenberg and Jesse Pinkman (as you can see in this awesome photo). We even had some of the blue, yeah!
But today’s scoop is about deals, my friends, not about who had the awesomest Halloween costume (obviously we win that one). Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games continues the Call of Duty pattern with Call of Duty: World at War for $15.99 on the Xbox 360. Amazon’s also got their new weekly deals, which are epic:
- Buy Two Games, Get One Free – and not just the crappy ones, either. This list includes Batman: Arkham City, Gears of War 3, and the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, as well as boatloads of older games. Seriously, this one is worth wading through all the pages.
- 50% off L.A. Noire for the Xbox 360, making it $19.99
- Homefront on sale for just $19.99
- Child Of Eden for $14.99 used through the Warehouse
But wait! There’s more. Target’s having their own awesome buy two, get one free sale, so if you’re tired of throwing all of your money at Amazon, you can take it to Target instead. Righteous!
T-shirt wise, Ript‘s “Stars & Stripes & Bricks” made me LOL: (more…)

Activision seems to be having crazy CoD sales – I’m assuming in preparation for Modern Warfare 3. Whatever. Tonight is Electric Six at Johnny Brenda’s, which means I’m going to be doing a lot of improper dancing in the middle of the street with my friends! Somebody better notify the chief of police…
Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games today is Bethesda’s Fallout 3 Collector’s Edition for the PC. It’s just $25.99 today, and comes with that adorable lunch box. Scoop it up!

That’s right. I don’t even know. That’s what today is about. What is this I don’t even- ? That’s how I feel today. It’s so close to the weekend, and I just want it to be here already. Actually, not even that – I just want it to be Halloween already! Can we get that coming a little faster? Can we? Please?
Oh, right – I’m supposed to be telling you the deals. Amazon’s Deal of the Day in video games is 505 Games’ Rugby World Cup 2011. This Xbox 360 game is just $29.99 today, and the description wants you to know that it is the only Rugby World Cup 2011 Game out there. I am not surprised!
