Also, this is Warp Zoned’s 6,000th post! Woo! *Confetti drops from the ceiling*
Anyway, let’s talk about deals, shall we? The amazing Papers, Please is on sale for $7.99 over at the Humble Store, along with Strike Suit Infinity for $3.49 and Jazzpunk for $11.99. The Daily Deal over at Steam for today is Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ for $4.99.

Daily Scoop: February 11, 2014 – On the eve of another storm
Apparently, we’re about to get hammered with another massive snow and/or ice storm. Of course, this means everyone is panicking and buying as much milk and bread (and eggs and toilet paper) as they can. I’m just hoping I can still make it up to New York City for IndieCade on Friday. Otherwise, bring on the snow!
Let’s talk about deals! You can still snag Double Fine’s Humble Weekly Bundle, which is pay-what-you-want for Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Stacking. Pay $6 or more for Brutal Legend, and pay $16.74 or more and get early access to Spacebase DF-9.
Over at Steam, the Midweek Madness sale is 40% off of Risk of Rain, which our very own Anthony Amato is obsessed with these days. It’s absolutely worth buying, so you should scoop it up!
And, of course, no scoop would be complete without t-shirts:

New Mighty No. 9 gameplay video released and a live-action adaptation is in development
Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man and the development lead behind next year’s Mighty No. 9, is on a mighty roll. After raking in a ridiculous pile of money with one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever, Inafune and his design teams at Comcept and Inti Creates have released a steady flow of Mighty No. 9 details. Now, they’ve released another gameplay video, with Inafune himself holding the controller.
It’s a very brief look at the game, but the developer closes out the clip with a hearty shout of “I’m extremely satisfied!” How can you not love Inafune’s energy?
In other Mighty No. 9 news, Contradiction Films’ Tim Carter recently sat down with EP Daily and revealed that his company has been contracted to produce a live-action adaptation of the game.
“We are at the very beginning stages of creative development on a digital series for Might No. 9. We are building the story right now,” Carter said. “I was a little apprehensive about it at first until I got his notes, and thought ‘Dude, you should be working at Pixar!’ It’s so good. We’re really, really excited about it.”
It’s currently unknown how the Mighty No. 9 adaptation will be released, but Contradiction Films is best known as the producers behind 2011’s excellent Mortal Kombat: Legacy webseries. So perhaps Mighty No. 9 will receive similar treatment.
10 Actors We Think Could Play Nathan Drake in the Uncharted Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth Gordon has been chosen to helm the planned film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted. The director, best known for the Donkey Kong documentary King of Kong as well as Horrible Bosses, steps into the role after it was left vacant by Limitless director Neil Burger, who has since moved onto Divergent, the first installment in the teen franchise. He himself had inherited the role from Oscar winner David O. Russell, who left due to the fan backlash following a leaked storyline that didn’t resemble Uncharted in the slightest.
So now that the film finally has a director locked (again), the big question remains… who will fill the well-tread boots of cheeky protagonist Nathan Drake? Here is a list of ten actors we believe could do the role justice. (more…)

Animated Batman: Arkham movie will be released this year
According to Hollywood Reporter, there’s a Batman: Arkham Asylum animated film coming, which will be based on the Arkham video game franchise. Jay Oliva, who is building a shared continuity of DC animated films beginning with this month’s Justice League: War, will direct the film. The new Batman: Arkham film is considered a “stand-alone, continuity-free project,” and is due to come out as a Warner Bros. home release sometime in 2014. Oliva was quoted as saying: “We can do original content, we can do New 52 [based on the New 52 DC line] stuff.”
As of right now, it’s unknown if the film will be based on Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, or Arkham Origins.
