Here’s the first teaser for Shenmue III… and it’ll be published by Deep Silver in Fall 2018
Director Yu Suzuki, and his team at Ys Net, have been steadily working on Shenmue III since the conclusion of its massive Kickstarter campaign in 2015. With two years of progress under their belt, the developer is finally ready to unveil the game’s first teaser trailer this week at Gamescom.
In addition to giving fans their first look at Ryo Hazuki’s next adventure, Ys Net has also signed a deal with Deep Silver to publish Shenmue III on the PC and PS4. The game will be available as both a digital download and a physical retail release in Summer/Fall 2018.
“Shenmue is one of a few game franchises that have historical value whilst continuing to ignite passion amongst gamers. We are delighted to have signed this publishing partnership and look forward to utilizing our global publishing network to maximize the potential of this highly-anticipated game,” said Klemens Kundratitz, the CEO of Deep Silver.
“I am very pleased to secure this global partnership with Deep Silver, which is comprised of incredible men and women who have a deep passion for bringing Japanese titles to the rest of the world,” added Yu Suzuki “Throughout this process, Deep Silver has expressed a deep passion for Japanese games, the Shenmue franchise, and its fans… this gives me further confidence in Shenmue III and that we have found the best partner possible.”

Jurassic World: Evolution will open in Summer 2018 for the PC, PS4, Xbox One
“Now eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs on your, on your dinosaur tour, right?”
Fans will get the chance to design their own dinosaur theme park in Jurassic World: Evolution, which will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in Summer 2018. Jurassic World: Evolution is in the works at Frontier Developments, a developer with extensive experience in the park building genre (including Planet Coaster, Zoo Tycoon, and ScreamRide):
Jurassic World: Evolution evolves players’ relationship with the Jurassic World film franchise, placing them in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when “life finds a way.”
“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Jonny Watts, Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer. “We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”
Jurassic World: Evolution will launch alongside Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which opens in theaters on June 22 and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jeff Goldblum.

New Retail Releases: Madden NFL 18, Uncharted The Lost Legacy, F1 2017, More

Are you ready for some football? EA Sports is getting ready to hike Madden NFL 18 into stores this week for the PS4 and Xbox One. The latest football sim from EA Tiburon makes use of the Frostbite Engine for the first time, as well as a Story Mode known as “Longshot.” And if you’re looking to pick up an Xbox One this week, Microsoft is now offering an Xbox One S 500GB + Madden NFL 18 Bundle.
Also available this week is a new Uncharted adventure from Naughty Dog. Nathan Drake hung up his spurs at the end of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross will carry on this week in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for the PS4.
In typical Uncharted fashion, Chloe and Nadine are in a race against the bad guys in The Lost Legacy, but players interested in a different kind of race will be able to pick up F1 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Codemasters has added a revamped Career Mode to F1 2017, as well as other improvements both online and off.
Career criminals might be interested in The Escapists 2, which will be available this week for the PS4 and Xbox One from Team17. New prisons, a new combat system, and a range of character customization options have moved The Escapists 2 to an even bigger house (pun so intended).
Finally this week, a trio of re-releases will bring some old favorites to new places. Telltale will launch Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure on the Switch. Koei Tecmo will compile together the four Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm games in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy for the PS4 and Xbox One. And Bethesda will bundle together Wolfenstein: The New Order + Wolfenstein: The Old Blood in a single package on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
That’s all for now, but we’re definitely going to learn more about the Fall’s biggest upcoming releases during the 2017 Gamescom expo this week.
