Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s Retail Edition will be available in stores on March 6
Square Enix and Deck Nine Games have announced that Life Is Strange: Before the Storm will make its way to retail stores on March 6. The prequel to the very popular Life Is Strange will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One in three different configurations including a Standard Edition ($29.99), a Limited Edition ($39.99), and a Vinyl Edition ($69.99).
All three versions of the game will include a bonus episode entitled “Farewell,” which reunites Chloe and Max, as well as their original voice actors, Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle. A new Mixtape Mode will let players score cinematic scenes with selections from the game’s soundtrack, and an Outfit Pack will add three new costumes to Chloe’s closet (“Punk Doe,” “Hawt Dawg Man,” and “Illuminati”). Finally, the first episode of the original Life Is Strange will be included with all retail versions of the game.
Players who opt for the Limited Edition will receive a physical art book and a soundtrack CD for the game. The Vinyl Edition, which will be sold exclusively through the Square Enix Store, will swap out the CD with a vinyl record and add a pair of Chloe and Rachel figurines.
Life Is Strange: Before the Storm fans who have already purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition will also be able to download “Farewell” on March 6. And in case you missed it, a behind-the-scenes video for the bonus episode can be found after the break. (more…)

Bruce Wayne and The Joker will cross paths again next week in Episode 4: What Ails You, Telltale’s next entry in Batman: The Enemy Within‘s story. Today, the developer released a new trailer for Episode 4, but I’d skip it if you’re not caught up with the game’s earlier episodes:
When the Pact puts its plan into motion, Bruce’s cover is finally blown, and as his web of lies unravels, new questions emerge: When and how will the Pact regroup? What’s truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency? And perhaps most importantly, how will John Doe handle the truth about his buddy Bruce? With another showdown brewing, the clown prince of crime may finally earn his crown…
Batman: The Enemy Within – Episode 4: What Ails You will be available to download for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices on Tuesday, January 23.
Mark it down… Scribblenauts Showdown will be released on March 6
WB Games has announced that Scribblenauts Showdown will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on March 6. Original developer 5th Cell shut down a few years ago, but fans can get a peek at the first teaser trailer above.
The next game in the Scribblenauts saga will change things up with a new focus on minigames. Up to four players will be able to create objects using the game’s dictionary of more than 35,000 words, and they’ll compete on a board game style map to win:
In the game’s Showdown Mode, up to four players face off and imagine their way to victory through card-based strategy and creative skill. “Wordy” minigames require unleashing the best object or character from the vast Scribblenauts dictionary of over 35,000 words to outsmart an opponent. Action-oriented “Speedy” minigames reward the player who completes a given challenge first. A board game style map displays players’ progress. With multiple ways to make up ground, every player has a chance to win, which keeps the excitement going until the end!
In Versus Mode, two players can go head-to-head in more than 25 minigames that vary in every session.
Scribblenauts Showdown will also include a brand new Sandbox Mode with eight levels for one or two players.

Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China
Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China is an air-combat action game based on the true events of America’s secret volunteer squadrons that defended China against Japan in the China-Burma-India theatre of World War II. Experience rarely depicted air-battles as you take on the role of headstrong fighter pilots, self-sacrificing transport navigators, and daring bomber crews and gunners of the AVG, the RAF, and the USAAF to repel the onslaught of the Japanese war machine. Dogfight skilled enemy aces using “hit and run” tactics, carry out breakaway air-strikes behind enemy lines, and take part in the defense of China’s critical supply-routes, from Rangoon up the Burma road, and across the deadly Himalayan “Hump.”The King of Fighters ’98
The King of Fighters ’98 is a fighting game released by SNK in 1998. In the previous installment KOF’ 97, the story of the “Orochi Saga” reached its exciting conclusion. As a result, the next entry in the series The King of Fighters ’98 was released as a dream match version of The King of Fighters series. It is one of the most popular and well known versions of the game, partially thanks to the many balance changes that received high praise from fans around the world.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Remastered will be released for PS4, Xbox One in March
It’s easy to forget about Assassin’s Creed: Rogue. Originally released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014 as a previous-generation alternative to Assassin’s Creed: Unity, many fans bypassed Rogue in favor of the newest PS4/Xbox One entry in the series. But now Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is back.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced plans to release Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Remastered for the PS4 and Xbox One on March 20. Rogue Remastered will include a graphical upgrade (1080p on PS4/Xbox One and 4K on PS4 Pro/Xbox One X), as well as all of the game’s downloadable content (The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable expansions, the Master Templar Pack, and the Explorer Pack).
Created by Ubisoft Sofia, the studio that developed the original Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, this remaster further enriches the franchise’s current-gen catalog. Thanks to higher resolution, improved environment rendering, visual effects and textures, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Remastered will offer an even more beautiful and immersive gaming experience that invites fans of the series and new players alike to discover or rediscover Shay’s adventures in 18th-century North America.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue tells the unique story of Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood who undergoes a dark and slow transformation from an Assassin to a grim and committed Templar who hunts down his former brothers. Players’ journeys will take them from beautiful New York City to the Wild River Valley and icy cold waters of the North Atlantic.
