Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus gets a new trailer and a Season Pass

Bethesda teased a bit of the “Strawberry Milkshake” sequence from Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus during this year’s E3 Expo, but now you can see the whole thing in the new trailer embedded above:

Mmm, the strawberry milkshake. A delicious summer treat so refreshing, it’s considered to be a “favorite American thing” to one particular Nazi Kommandant, who decided to pick one up at a local diner in Roswell, New Mexico. Unfortunately, BJ Blazkowicz just happens to be at that same diner, leading to a very tense encounter.

In another bit of Wolfenstein II news, Bethesda has unveiled the game’s Season Pass on Bethesda.net. Priced at $24.99, The Freedom Chronicles will add three playable characters to the game sometime after its launch:

  • Episode Zero – Episode Zero introduces you to Joseph Stallion, Jessica Valiant and Gerald Wilkins as they fight for freedom in the American Territories. Blast your way through Nazis using unique abilities and an arsenal of guns in this opening DLC mission.
  • The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe – As former professional quarterback Joseph Stallion, smash through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space!
  • The Diaries of Agent Silent Death – As ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas!
  • The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins – As the US Army’s renowned hero Captain Gerald Wilkins, embark on a mission to Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun!

As an added bonus, players who pre-order Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will receive the “Episode Zero” mission for free.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 27.

Shelob isn’t just a giant spider in the latest Middle-Earth: Shadow of War trailer

Shelob is quite possibly the most famous spider in all of fiction, but the character will become so much more in this Fall’s Middle-Earth: Shadow of War.

“The Spider” revealed her human form to Talion and Celebrimbor in a new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War that was released during this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con. Players will actually approach Shelob as something of an ally, and she’ll provide visions that help push the game’s plot forward. While that sounds like a good deal for Talion, I’m not sure I’d be able to trust a giant spider.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 10.

Spider-Man, Haggar, Frank West, Nemesis join Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in Comic-Con 2017 trailer

The Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite roster recently expanded by four as Capcom revealed a new trailer featuring Spider-Man, Final Fight‘s Haggar, Dead Rising‘s Frank West, and Resident Evil 3‘s Nemesis during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The video also includes more footage of Thanos and Gamora, as well as the first look at the Mind Stone in action.

If you’re unfamiliar with any member of this quartet, the Capcom-Unity blog delves into their backstories a bit, and discusses how the Mind Stone can affect matches:

The Mind Stone is the fifth announced Infinity Stone for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite. This stone brings a command grab type of attack to its wielder in the air and on the ground. Upon landing a successful Infinity Surge attack, the opponent will fall to the ground and wake up in a daze, giving the wielder plenty of time to set up their next attack. Activating the Infinity Storm gives players a boost in hyper gauge regeneration. Hyper gauge will naturally increase without performing any additional actions, letting players build up their powerful super attacks much faster.

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 19.
