The 2014 Gamescom convention is its final hours, so now’s a great time to take a look back at some of this week’s biggest announcements.
- Square Enix teamed up with Dontnod to announce the episodic Life Is Strange.
- Square Enix also teamed up with Microsoft to release Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox platforms exclusively for a limited time.
- Ninja Theory unveiled Hellblade, their Celtic-inspired PS4 exclusive.
- Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro will bring you Silent Hills, the next Silent Hill game.
- BioWare revealed their next RPG, the 4v1 Shadow Realms.
- Activision brought back the Sierra publishing label and revealed their first big project… Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.
- Konami will release Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on the PC.
- Sony has moved Supermassive’s Until Dawn to the PS4 and removed the Move requirement.

Hiroshi Iuchi, the creator of Ikaruga, has revealed that he is working on a brand new shooter for the PS4. The game will be known as Ubusana and will be available to download through the PlayStation Store sometime in the future. It also may make the jump to other platforms as development progresses. That’s it. That’s all we know.
