Most of this Fall’s biggest games have been released over the last few weeks, so today’s PlayStation Store update is home to just a handful of new games. But a few of them are definitely big in their own right.

For example, Sierra and Lucid Games have joined forces to bring Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions to the PS3 and PS4. The twin-stick shooter sequel adds three-dimensional levels, drones partners, and several new game modes. Also available this week for the PS3 and PS4 is Zer0 Sum, the first episode of Telltale’s Tales From the Borderlands episodic series.

A complete look at all of this week’s new releases (including the 1920s-styled fighter Speakeasy and the PS4 launch of Thomas Was Alone) can be found after the break. And a full rundown of this week’s new game add-ons and discounts can be found at the PlayStation Blog.

PS4 Games

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions ($14.99)
Enjoy the next chapter in the award-winning Geometry Wars franchise and battle through waves of enemies in this frenetic arcade shooter!

Tales From the Borderlands: Zer0 Sum ($4.99)
Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events seen in Borderlands 2, this is a story full of Borderlands’ trademark humor, following two adventurers on their quest for greatness. You’ll play as Rhys, a Hyperion “suit” with dreams of being the next Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her biggest ever swindle.

Thrown together as unwilling partners in an adventure to recover cash they both think is theirs, their journey will take you on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters are just some of the obstacles you’ll encounter, in this new take on the award-winning universe created by Gearbox Software.

Speakeasy ($9.99)
Heavily inspired by Rock-Paper-Scissors. Speakeasy is a local-multiplayer only fighting game that combines rapid action with intense strategy. Set in the bombastic and visually stunning 1920’s Roaring America, Speakeasy will be the highlight of any party thanks to a simple three-button control scheme that will test the nerves and patience of gamers everywhere, regardless of skill level!

Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed ($49.99)
Explore the supernatural mysteries of Akihabara in Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed. A dark conspiracy plots to consume Japan’s pop-culture mecca with an army of synthetic vampires. As a fugitive from their experiments, it’s up to you to hunt these “Synthisters” down, brawling with them in the streets and tearing off their clothes to roast them in the harsh light of day.

Thomas Was Alone ($9.99)
Thomas Was Alone is the critically acclaimed indie platformer about friendship and jumping. Guide a group of sentient rectangles through a series of environments, combining their skills to reach the end of the level. Discover the story of the world’s first sentient AIs, and how they worked together to, well… ‘escape’ is a strong word. ‘Emerge’ might be better. ‘Emerge’ has an air of importance about it, while keeping a plethora of plot twists and origin stories under wraps. We didn’t even mention the bouncing. That’d be overkill.
