Telltale has announced that Minecraft: Story Mode will begin to build a home on the Wii U this week with the release of the game’s first episode, The Order of the Stone, on January 21. The first episode will be priced at $4.99, though a Season Pass to secure access to the remaining four episodes will also available for $19.99.

“Working with Nintendo, we’re tremendously excited to be bringing our unique style of storytelling to Wii U for the first time, and we couldn’t be happier to be kicking things off with a series like Minecraft: Story Mode that allows players of all ages to craft their own adventure across the Minecraft universe,” said Kevin Bruner, the CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games.

Subsequent episodes in the Minecraft: Story Mode series will be added to the Wii U eShop in “the coming weeks.”
