Jotun, Light Fall, Saturday Morning RPG, more coming to Nintendo eShop this week

Nintendo has once again updated the Nintendo eShop, and more than a dozen new Switch titles will once again be added to the digital storefront over the next seven days.

Leading the way this week is Jotun: Valhalla Edition. The isometric action game from Thunder Lotus Games includes hand-drawn graphics and five “epic” boss fights against giant Norse elementals known as Jotuns. Jotun: Valhalla Edition will be available to download beginning tomorrow.

Light Fall is a puzzle platformer from Bishop Games where players will control a magical box known as a Shadow Core, and it’s available to download today. Also launching today is Saturday Morning RPG, a turn-based RPG that was inspired by 80s pop culture.

Bandai Namco will also bring the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy to the Switch, and players will be able to purchase each title in the anime-inspired series individually or they can pick up the entire trilogy in a discounted bundle.

Finally this week, Nintendo fans will be able to download 10-Yard Fight, an early football experience from the 80s arcade era, on May 2.

Aqua Moto Racing Utopia – Exotic courses, spectacular stunts, split-screen and online multiplayer: all the intensity of jet skiing on your own or with friends! Aqua Moto Racing Utopia is fun and competitive: have a blast in dozens of races, performing stunts in gorgeous environments and playing against up to seven opponents. – Available April 27

12 Orbits – 12 Orbits is colorful, friendly, fun, and sometimes a little chaotic. You will score goals, color spheres, defend your territory, and try to grow as long as possible in four varied game modes. It’s you against all comers, or grouped as teams. – Available April 27

A Robot Named Fight – A Robot Named Fight is a 2D action adventure roguelite focused on exploration and item collection. Take on the role of a lone robot tasked with stopping the entity known as Megabeast. Explore procedurally-generated labyrinths, uncover randomized power-ups and artifacts, find secrets, and blast meaty creatures in this deliciously gory adventure.

Ghost Pilots – Ghost Pilots is a shooting game released by SNK in 1991. The hero flies an old-fashioned seaplane in order to fight the two powerful nations invading their own country. Alongside giant military weapons, a mysterious combat unit arrives and makes for an intense battle.

Stakes Winner – Stakes Winner is a realistic jockey action game released in 1995 by SNK. Use skills such as showing the whip, formation split and hyper dash, collect items on the course, and power-up your beloved horse in this multifaceted game. Ride with your horse through a variety of races as you aim to conquer the GI. – Available May 2

Agatha Knife – Embark on this twisted adventure with Agatha, a child torn between her love for eating meat and her friendships with animals. Join her as she discovers religion and creates her own, Carnivorism, to convince the animals that the sacrifice of their flesh is the secret to their eternal happiness.

Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story – Another Lost Phone is a game about exploring the social life of a young woman whose phone you have just found. This game is designed as a narrative investigation where you must piece together elements from the different applications, messages and pictures to progress. Scrolling through the phone’s content, you will find out everything about Laura: her friendships, her professional life and the events that led to her mysterious disappearance and the loss of this phone.

10-Yard Fight – 10-Yard Fight is a sports game released in 1983 by IREM. Players can enjoy American football with its simple but intense play mechanics. Score touchdowns as you play against increasingly powerful opponents. Run with the ball or make a pass – you decide how to gain those 10 yards! Go, go, go for the touchdown! This version also contains the 1984 version of VS 10-Yard Fight with the additional two-player mode. – Available May 2

Bouncy Bob – Hilarious couch co-op with a pinch of darkness. Defeat hordes of zombies and seal your fate with the push of one button! – Available April 27

DragoDino – Meet Bob, a cute DragoDino, and guide him through the 10 levels of the Forest Kingdom in a quest to recover his lost egg stuck atop a giant tree. Explore and fight enemies to reach ever higher, collecting powers on your way up to help you in your quest. But be careful, the guardians you’ll meet won’t let you through that easily. – Available April 27

Glaive: Brick Breaker – Glaive: Brick Breaker is a classic and popular arkanoid-type game with beautiful 3D graphics. Many power-ups, tons of different stages and dynamic gameplay.

Goetia – Goetia is a point and click adventure where you play the ghost of a young lady. You are Abigail. Abigail Blackwood.

Hello Kitty Kruisers – Join Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends as they race on land, through air and over water. Race by yourself or with up to three of your friends. Unlock new outfits and vehicles for Hello Kitty and her Sanrio Friends, or challenge your racing skills in the all-new Adventure Mode!

Super Saurio Fly – Players will move along the stages crossing different parts of the world by using Super Saurio’s ability to fly, dodge traps and defeat other dinosaurs. The storyline puts the player on the role of Saurio, a cute and clumsy tiny pterodactyl whose eggs were stolen. Saurio will have to look for his eggs around the world and defeat the evil kidnappers. – Available April 28
