beatbuddy-header

Beatbuddy is a super adorable side-scrolling rhythm game made by a small German company named Threaks. It was on the show floor at PAX East, and after seeing their adorable plushy mascot on backpacks all over the expo floor, I needed to find out what this game was all about. Not only do they have a great little fellow to promote their game, they’ve also got fantastic gameplay to back it up. I was more than happy with Beatbuddy, and I was ready to stand there and play it for another hour, if they’d let me. (more…)

Daily Scoop: May 6, 2013 – Did you survive Cinco de Mayo?

Were you able to survive Cinco de Mayo? I almost didn’t. I was taking an unshowered trip to the bookstore yesterday in my pajamas when I realized I was walking through a trendy part of town on a major day of drinking. I nearly had an anxiety attack! Daily Scoop: May 1, 2013 – May Day!

It’s a beautiful day here in Philadelphia – it finally feels like spring! I might even spend some time outside at some point today, in between working and playing Dungeons & Dragons at Cipher Prime. We’re starting a new campaign, so tonight is character creation. I’m hoping to play a Kenku Chaos Sorceror, but we’ll see!

Also, have you seen this Animal Crossing 3DS XL? I think I died from cute.
