Daily Scoop: October 8, 2014 – Gaming weather
It’s fall all right, and it’s the perfect weather to cuddle up under a blanket and start a brand-new game. I’ve been trying to figure out which game to start next, but it’s really a hard decision with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel coming in less than a week. I don’t want to ditch another game as soon as I’ve started it. So many hard choices…
Speaking of hard choices, there are lots of great deals happening today! The first is the Steam Daily Deal, which is 40% off early access to Carmageddon: Reincarnation. It’s on sale today for just $17.99.
There are some new bundles as well. There’s the Humble Mobile Bundle 9, in which you can pay what you want for Siberia, Neuroshima Hex, and Bardbarian: Golden Axe Edition. If you beat the average, you can unlock Leo’s Fortune, Out There, and First Strike.
Then there’s the new Indie Royale spread, the Debut 19 Bundle. Beat the average to get Bionite: Origins, Cafe 0: ~The Drowned, Towers of Altrac – Epic Defense, Castle, Hard Lander, Barter Empire, and Realm of Perpetual Guilds.

Daily Scoop: October 6, 2014 – After a weekend full of Hyper Light Drifter
After a weekend with Hyper Light Drifter, I can happily say that it’s just as amazing as that first impression. I got to the end but didn’t find all of the secrets yet, so I’ve been trying to chip away at those as best I can. The world is just so gorgeous that I’m content to just run around in it. I can’t wait to play the full game!
There’s a new Flash Sale over at Humble Bundle – these are all games by Kiss. Pay what you want for The 39 Steps, Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising, and Showtime!. Pay $6 or more to unlock Darkout, Unrest, and Lifeless Planet. This one only lasts a few days, so grab it while you can!
There’s a new bundle over at Indie Royale as well – the Mystery Bundle! Beat the average to get The Sun at Night, Hero of the Kingdom, Huntsman: The Orphanage, Paranormal State: Poison Spring, Major Mayhem, Power-Up, and The Samaritan Paradox. They’ll be adding more games as well, so be sure to keep checking.
And now, shirts!

Daily Scoop: October 3, 2014 – Hyper Light Drifter
The closed beta for Hyper Light Drifter Kickstarter backers started last night at midnight, and it is wonderful. It’s so deep and beautiful, and I’m really eager to get back to it as soon as I can!
For those of you not in the beta, don’t worry – I have some deals you can pick up and start playing right now. Steam has a great Daily Deal going on right now, which is the Ubi Arcade Pack. For $19.99, you get Child of Light, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, and Trials Fusion. Don’t want the bundle? Get them individually for $7.49, $7.49, and $9.99, respectively.
There’s a brand new Humble Weekly Bundle happening right now, too. Pay what you want for Crouching Pony Hidden Dragon, Gauge, Puddle, and The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Pay $5 or more to unlock Wooden Sen’Sey, Storm, and Poof. I want to get it just for Mysterious Cities of Gold!
Finally, time for t-shirts!

Daily Scoop: October 1, 2014 – Who wants to play video games?
ME! The answer is me. I just want to sit around and play games all night tonight. I know I can’t, because I have too much work to do, but it’s not stopping me from wanting to. Also, we’re one day closer to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel coming out. WOO! This month isn’t so bad so far.
The Humble Store is having a special promo for Team 17 games right now. Hit them up and pick up Superfrog HD for $2.49, Worms Armageddon for $3.74, and Light for $7.79, among others.
Over at Steam, the Daily Deal is Prototype 2, which is on sale for $9.99. But, more importantly, the Midweek Madness deal is the awesome Torchlight II for just $4.99! You should definitely pick that up for sure right now. Do it!
Once again, not many t-shirts, but some good ones, at least!

Daily Scoop: September 30, 2014 – Last day of September
Tomorrow is the first day of October, and you know what that means – time to really start putting together the Halloween costumes! Anthony Amato and I have known what we’ve wanted to be for a while, but we just have to actually get all of the components. Then it’s just time to party!
You’ve still got some time to pick up all those bundles at Humble Bundle, some of which are ending soon. You’ve still got plenty of time for the PC and Android 11 Bundle and the Humble Mobile Bundle 8, but time is running out for the Leading Ladies Weekly Bundle and the 11 Bit Studios Flash Bundle.
As always, Steam has lots of specials that you’ll want to keep your wallet far away from. Duke Nukem Forever is $4.99, Dragon Age: Origins – Ultimate Edition is $7.49, and my personal favorite, Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition, is on sale for a measly $9.99. Scoop ’em up!
Not many t-shirts again today…

Daily Scoop: September 29, 2014 – Flash Sale!

Oh, and we did a lot of work on RESISTOR_, which is unsurprising. Heck, I even got a chance to play a little First Light!
