CoD Black Ops Rezurrection trailer investigates the undead in space

The Call of Duty Zombie Lab has been perfecting ways to kill zombies since 1943 and now the red undead menace has appeared on the moon. So naturally, that requires new (and creative) ways to kill the flesh eaters.

Thankfully, we get a hilarious look at those creative killing implements in the awesome live action intro to “Zombie Authority,” the first Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection trailer. It’s too bad they don’t know how to spell “Resurrection” though.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection pack will be available to download from Xbox Live on August 23 with PC and PS3 downloads coming next month.

BioWare begins Round 2 of voting for Mass Effect 3’s official “FemShep”

BioWare asked the people and the people have spoken. With all the votes tallied, the public vastly preferred “Shepard 5” (the one that looks like Samus Aran) as the model for the official female Shepard in Mass Effect 3. But an equally large group has also spoken and declared Shepard 5’s blonde hair the mark of a bimbo, so BioWare has opened up a second round of voting to decide the official female Shepard’s official hair color.

As of right now, redhead Shepard is winning with more than 13,000 Likes on BioWare’s Facebook page. Brunette Shepard is in a distant second and a pair of blonde Shepards (one bleached and one dirty) are bringing up the rear.

I guess blondes don’t have more fun.

Batman adds 3D support for Arkham City to his utility belt

The addition of anaglyphic 3D support was one of the major selling points for the Game of the Year Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Batman: Arkham City will go one better and include both stereoscopic 3D support (for those with 3DTVs) and anaglyphic 3D support (for those who don’t mind the red and blue paper glasses).

Here’s what WB Games had to say about Bruce Wayne’s latest high-tech toy:

Gamers on Xbox 360 and PS3 can delve deep into Arkham City’s breathtaking environments and immersive gameplay in stereoscopic 3D when playing on any 3D HDTV and wearing active shutter glasses that are compatible with the television. In addition, Batman: Arkham City supports NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, allowing PC players to also experience the action in stereoscopic 3D on GeForce GPU-equipped desktop or notebook PCs and compatible 3DTVs.

Fans with HDTVs can enjoy Batman: Arkham City in anaglyphic 3D with technology compatible with all high definition TV sets and visible to players wearing 3D glasses available for the video game.

Twisted Metal demo, Uncharted 3 3D trailer included on Priest Blu-ray

Recently, a Resistance 3 demo was featured on the Blu-ray version of Battle: Los Angeles. Now, a 3D trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will appear on the Unrated 3D Blu-ray version of Priest while the 2D Blu-ray disc will include a demo for Twisted Metal.

Priest is a a movie based off of a series of Korean graphic novels involving vampires, so we’re not sure what that has to do with treasure hunting or car battling. But movie aside, fans will be able to witness Nathan Drake in all his 3D glory for the first time, and Twisted Metal’s demo will let players in on a bit of action behind the wheel – though the demo won’t show any of the new changes that forced the game’s release date delay.
