NIS America is always up to something… or several somethings. On top of bringing Hyperdimension Neputunia V to America, they’ve also just announced they’ll be bringing Generation of Chaos 6 for the PSP as well. In America, the game will be retitled Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection.
Here’s the story thus far:
Dark clouds blanket the withered skies and block out the sun; cracked earth and choking fog rule the land. This colorless world, showing no signs of life, is known as Hades. The barren land is blasted by chilling winds that cut to the bone… This is where we meet our heroes—Yuri, a young girl cursed with a disease draining her life away; and Claude, her protective older brother who will stop at nothing to save her. As they travel in search of a cure, they find themselves embroiled in a conflict that will determine the fate of the world and, just maybe, the fate of the siblings. They’ll lose old friends, meet new friends, and travel on a path that will lead them to the very doorstep of destiny…
The real-time strategy of the battle system will allow you to set up your battlefield with your units to take over key locations – you know, all the RTS fun you’re used to. As you defeat enemies, you gain Alchemy Points, which can be spent on upgrades for your characters and weapons.
Look for Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection on the PlayStation Network in February 2013.

If you ever wanted to take the crazy Hyperdimension Neptunia trip into the 80s, now is your chance! Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory – known in Japan as Neptunia V – will be coming to America in spring of 2013.
Neptune will be back, but this time, she gets sent to the 80s version of Gamindustri. And guess what… there are lots of costume options! I know, you’re shocked.
NIS America will also be making a Neptunia iPhone app, which will allow you to do some pretty wacky stuff, like take pictures with Neptunia and Noire, as well as use them as an alarm clock. Oh, NISA! You’re adorable. Check out the game’s website for more info.

Xbox 360 owners are in for a treat in early October. They’ll be getting exclusive access to the Medal of Honor: Warfighter open beta.
Players will be able to play as soldiers from ten different nations, including the British SAS, German KSK, Korean UDT, Russian Spetsnaz Alfa Group, and U.S. Navy Seals. It will be running on the Frostbite 2 game engine. Fans of 2010’s Medal of Honor reboot will be eager to see the changes here.
The beta will include a new multiplayer mode called HotSpot. Played on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia, this mode allows players to attack or defend locations that are randomly selected. This mode is inspired by actual operations, and players are paired through the new Fireteam system.
Depending on how many people download the beta, EA will unlock the “Castle of Glass” music video by Linkin Park. If three million people download it, the video – which is a collaboration between Linkin Park and Danger Close Games – will be released. I really don’t think this will be a driving force for anyone to download the beta… no offense, LP.
Medal of Honor Warfighter will be out on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on October 23.
Square Enix and developer United Front Games have just announced a ton of new downloadable content for Sleeping Dogs. The open world game will receive an (as of now, untitled) expansion to its story next month. More details will be revealed during the New York Comic-Con, which begins on October 11.
In the meantime, several other Sleeping Dogs DLC packs will be released in October, including the “Street Racer Pack,” the “SWAT Pack,” the “Tactical Soldier Pack,” and the “Community Gift Pack” (which will be free). More details, release dates, and pricing for all of these packs will be announced soon.

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time was pushed into 2013 a few weeks back, but now that vague release date has been replaced by a more specific one, specifically February 5, 2013. The PlayStation 3 and Vita game will be available in stores and available to download from the PlayStation Network on the same day.
And don’t forget, if you purchase the PS3 version of Thieves In Time, you’ll receive a voucher for a free download of the Vita version.
Wow. I’ve spent something like 27 hours in Pandora over the last few days. If I didn’t have to go to the doctor twice (four hours!) or DM for Encounters (three hours!) or sleep (too many hours!), it might have been more. Oh, and I’m back at work today, which eats into my Borderlands 2 time even more. While playing through solo with Zer0 is pretty tough, it’s worth it. He is seriously a badass.
No deals today. Nothing going on at all today. Everyone is just playing the games that came out in the last few months, or attacking their backlogs. Seriously – you don’t need anymore games. Don’t do it, bro!
Instead, go pre-order the new Borderlands book, Borderlands #2: Unconquered. Or get ready for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Pick your flavor! Or do both. All the things!
